New year, blog ends!

This is the time of the year when most of the families around the world gather to celebrate the new year. And for a year that ends a new path should be tread for us to take and sometimes do necessary steps for some things to change.

For many months I was blogging for the game and I really enjoyed doing it without getting anything in return. But it came to my senses that I should do something aside from doing blog posts for Granado Espada. I have my own life that I should work on and somehow the last few months before the year ends made me realize things. Its more like a wake up call after getting some new things along the few months. Honestly I cannot completely devote my time to write my new experiences in-game. And sometimes there was this feeling of losing my motivation of creating new blog posts because in-game it was like its the same routine. And the worst thing, most of my friends in-game which I missed so much~ they were all quitting. Well miserably I end up like playing alone and no one talks with me. The community I was used to was gone. Or if some of them exists, they already have their new clicks and I'm completely off the crowd. Indeed I could claim I'm alone in-game.

I will take this opportunity to greet anyone who still pays visit on this blog a Happy New Year. To those few friends of mine in-game thanks for making my day even though you guys don't frequently log in anymore. To the readers thank you so much for support and I really appreciate it. To those critics of mine thanks for giving attention to this lonely soul in-game. To all players who made contributions to my posts, (permission to take shots of their characters, pictures in real life during real life events, anonymous opinions, etc) I appreciate the support for making my posts more realistic and idea oriented blog rather than getting advance updates which looks like a copy paste blog~ Thank you so much! To members of IAH games thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to meet Hrin and the gang! I don't how would I extend my gratitude but again~ Thanks! Thanks! Thanks!

Feature: Cyril Takayama - More than a Trick!

Relatively most of the MMORPG do have spell casters to choose from as your avatar. And one of the good things about it was the spells being cast which completely puts your eyes to astonishment. The MMORPG Granado Espada which I'm currently playing features one of this avatar and we called it as the Wizard. But in real life we do have our modern wizards and one of them is Cyril Takayama!

The first time I've seen his videos at youtube, I was really curious on how different he was amongst the other modern illusionist. And from the videos I've seen, I might say that his personality is cool and impressive on how he does his trick. Why would I say that? Watch this!

Cool right? This is my personal favorite because Cyril managed to perform magic within a game and I found it awesome! Personally seeing Cyril perform such trick changed my perspective about magic. Usually the magic or tricks I've witnessed is more of cards, disappearing acts, and other fast hand tricks. But he made it different because Cyril do tricks using the usual techniques and even including gadgets; mobile phone, virtual games, and a like.

Cyril: Simply Magic will be shown at AXN soon but for sure I don't want to think of what his going to perform. I just bare in mind that Cyril will always surprise me along with the audiences who are anticipating his show. I look forward that Cyril will never be tired of sharing his amazing talent and brings out those young hearts within all of us. So Cyril good luck on your show and more power to AXN for bringing out a person with such amazing talent!

Colony War 3.5: How was it?

After a long time that I've witnessed how the Colony Wars go and now a new system was introduced in this current patch and the mechanics was far more different than the conventional one. The first Colony Wars was like go to the map that has a colony and then break til it's HP reach to zero and accompanied by you can warp between occupied colonies through colony manager. The second change for Colony Wars was they remove the warp between occupied colonies which members of a faction should maximize the usage of save warps.

So what's new in this Colony War? Granado Espada version 3.5 features the new colony war system by putting up a special arena to occupy a colony. Well its far different from the old one but all I can say is it was really time consuming. But in the brighter side, that tedious time occupying a colony gives other faction a chance to occupy another territory. Unfortunately in my case, I was with a faction versus the server so occupying a colony was rough for us.

Well to sum up all of this, its more of head to head battle inside a colony arena. But if you have numerous declarations over your faction slate, those factions who declared your faction can enter the colony arena. And to occupy a colony, you have to break at least 3 colonies inside the Colony War Arena. They say the new system is boring because you run and break but I don't agree with it because alliances still creates horrendous effects on Colony Wars. Til again I'll keep you posted pioneers.

When the wasps starts biting

After a month of being inactive and resolving issues about in-game now I've returned to update this blog and continue what I have started.

First and foremost I will take this opportunity to defend myself along with the people who stood for me. I know I shouldn't be doing this, but a breather was needed in my case and I should list down things further on.

Issues:

1. Players prejudiced me because I stopped updating my blog because I don't get something in return.

ans. I start blogging this wonderful game without expecting of getting anything. Popularity is not what I ask for, I expect readers and new players to be educated in my own special way by sharing my experiences whether it is in-game or community real life gatherings. As simple as that. Whats the use of titles given to me if ever- thus I cannot perform well.

2. Former Takhisis members accuses me with the issue of stealing the faction vault etc. then because of this I move to a known faction in my server.

ans. Before this people accused me of stealing, the core members has initiated the idea of gathering necessary items to fortify its core as suggested. It was approved and accompanied by YOU HAVE TO WORK ON IT so that you can get items from the faction. The accusation arise when hacking cases starts to smother Takhisis Faction, some players tag it as a hacking faction. It hurts me a lot because of such accusation but I ignored it due to the fact that these players has no evidence in the first place. But in a personal note - items are earned through hard work and not making gossips just to justify your qualification as legitimate owner of such items. Currently, the items are with the remaining Takhisis members and they are all managing it without my supervision.

3. They say I've become inactive due to conflicts within the community of gamers.

ans. I deny the statement that I become inactive due to conflict. If there is any, it should deal personally and not in-game. One of the most difficult thing about this part is when people tend to hear things and never bother asking me - just in case you are civilized enough to ask me. During a month of being inactive, I took the advantage of dealing with my personal life and I know everybody does if they have the opportunity. So to break your curiosity I've done several volunteer works for an institution and teaching kids for theatrical plays which kept me busy. And I have to admit I love this part of my life. That is why the state in number 3 is simply false.

For those players who doesn't believe me its all up to you. But I really thanked those players who still believed in me and sending messages in my YM handler because it kept me well spirited as ever. For now my aim is to continue what I have started in regardless of the issues thrown to me. But I don't take it personally because at the end of the day I'm just your ordinary blogger and its just a game.

After 10 frustrating months of hunting down 2 pieces of unknown ore for my Claire quest, finally she joined my family.

So how did I finished this quest? Because the current patch influences the drop rate of a certain item by current character level I took advantage of it and used two characters who are currently at level 68 and 69. But of course I brought an expert scout as my support to other lowbie characters who is doing the quest for me. Well base on my speculation, it is more easier to do the quest with the condition of using same level cap characters. And at least Claire is with me now. Til again I'll keep you posted pioneers!

Scammer's Stench

After more than a week of not playing the game, a news came to my knowledge and it was really unpleasant in such a way my name was involved in scamming.

It was explained by my faction mates that a fake Fikdotter family roams around and scams other members of the Takhisis Faction and to top that the impostor asks for their user names and password. Personally I was in raged and helpless with such uncivilized behavior of individuals doing this scamming.

(In the family name, the "i" word was replace with small letter "L")

What you see is true, this screenshot was taken by my brother during the days I was away. Two of my members was attempted to be scammed but was failed. Unfortunately my faction member and friend in real life Santoss fall to this trick to the extent of asking his username and password. Santoss explained to me that this Fiksdotter impostor convinces him that he needs his account for AFK purposes etc. Then for what I couldn't understand is why he easily gave out his username and password to this fake Fiksdotter. Well I couldn't blame my friend because he knew me personally but the biggest mistake he did was he never checked the family profile.

To all the players of Granado Espada be cautious about trading and giving out personal information about your account. Please check the family profile, double check items before trading, and don't easily accept item transfers because these will all lead to your in-game nightmare.

When Adelina loses her touch

I guess it was the 14th of July the Hron's Treasure Trove has been introduce to our fellow pioneers through this Official News Article. Upon reading this article, I really find it awkward and I'm sure there is something wrong with this one.

Then I read the forums and I found this interesting thread but first it was the usual thread. You know IAH announces then give a discussion link related to the news. But it turns out to be a negative feedback from most of the players who read the article.

In this cut, it turns out to be that Adelina's Booty Search will eventually die or will be re-invented for the reason that it was "in-effective" as quoted from our IAH team. But I guess it is more heavier for player to waste some points just to throw their luck on this items that has no outmost definition of "at least enjoying the game content".

For now its a head to head combat for Adelina's Booty Search and Hron's Treasure Trove. But I do hope Adelina's Booty Search will still emerge victorious so even though most of the players cannot be the best in their game at least they will enjoy the patch content. Reach for the Star

Yesterday was considerably one of the highlights of my gaming life. And I want to share this little accomplishment of mine. After collecting the 12 symbols of the constellation, with the aid of my faction mates, I have succesfully crafted one of the constellation series and in this case I choose "Hamal's Leadership" a constellation polearm. So why did I wrote this down, for the simple reason of breaking some myth about crafting this weapon series.

After giving the 12 symbols to Queen Hamaan of Zeia, she will give you options of what recipe you want to get from her. But it never stops there, she will ask you for the second time so if you are having doubts about your selection you may undo it. For what I saw and comprehend, the constellation recipe is tradeable.

Now lets see how to get the following ingredients needed to craft this weapon. The recipe requires 3 pcs of Veteran chips which can be acquired thru instanced missions (drop table update applies per regional server) and if you managed to break an Ancient weapon crafted from Damaged Ancient Glaziums. We have Melee weapon crystal - Grade 30, in my case I used level 100 sword breaker for this. The Ancient runes 50 pcs Te and 50 pcs An, well you can farm this in the outskirts of Zeia though in my case I bought them. And the last ingredient, 10 pcs Ambrosia, which you can buy in the premium item shop but if you got enough vis you can buy this from other players.

So which character is used to craft this weapon? For what I know you must use an Expert character to craft the recipe because the series is exclusive for experts. In my case I used my expert Claude to accomplish this.

And there you go, your very own constellation weapon. There are various constellation weapon under the sleeves of the Queen but unfortunately for you to get another one you have to get all the 12 symbols again. In addition, the process of enhancing and enchanting were the same though in terms of impervium you should use the expert imperviums to enhance beyond +5. I hope this little information will help pioneers if they plan to craft this series. Til again I'll keep you posted pioneers!

After some busy week of going back and forth to some real life appointments, I relieved myself by buying some neat costume for my male Elementalist. Well to my personal opinion most of the costumes designed for male Elementalist has no love added to it. Peace out developer of Granado Espada but I guess you redeemed yourself for giving this out to players like me who loves male Elementalist.

I was really glad to have this one and am proud to post it here on my blog. The Dignite costume Elementalist. This premium costume is tradeable along with the Dignite that can be crafted through Andre's Quest. So if you want to get hang and feel the spirit of the Masquerade, go and get one. At least now I love my male Elementalist more! Til again I'll keep you posted pioneers!

Sol of my Life

I've been busy in my real life lately and at least I have my personal to update my blog. For my post I just want to appreciate some things in-game and it was worth to satisfy my eyes.

First, I was really happy to receive my permanent back costume Rojo Puesta de Sol which make my characters brighter along with my Faction Leader ring. I should say this back costumes were head turners and I love it. Thanks IAH for these wonderful back costumes.

And as I mentioned in my previous blog entry, I want to satisfy myself by crafting any Trump Series weapon so I choose El Sol the lord of elemental bracelet and its enough for me. Too bad I sold my other colored tickets for vis purposes. For now I am about to look after some in-game events spearheaded by our Game Masters in-game. Til again I'll keep you posted pioneers!

Masquerade! Lights! Camera! Action!

After the server was up, I was held up in-game because of exploring some new features of the game. And part of that was getting familiar with instanced raids and of course getting my own Hellena and Ania for my family.

I find the quest easy to access though in mission its kinda off because the stats of the lords inside Chateau Raid was insanely tough. Adverse to it, the lords in the Hellena quest was different because they have 59 AR/DR so it is more easier to take down. Fortunately I surpass the quest with ease. Thanks to Hrin potion, Triumph Fillers, Soul Crystals and Lucifer Wings I made it thru. That only thing that will satisfy my taste on this patch is when I manage to get my own Trump weapon and I guess its enough for me.

Oh by the way Ferrucio Espada was rumored to be alived! Want to know more about the story line? Finish the Arsene and Ania Recruitment quest to know this juicy information. Til again I'll keep you posted pioneers!

Marching to Masquerade: Day 4

In the eve of the new patch "the Masquerade", the ABS (Adelina Booty Search) loot table was updated with new line of costumes and some weapons. It was one of the major changes today though we are going to expect long hours of server maintenance tomorrow. But we could not prejudice it because there are chances that the server maintenance will be shortened so just hold your excitement for the mean time.

For the pioneers out there start sending your sms answer for our web site event to avail free permanent wing. So pioneers have a breather while you wait for the new expansion and til again I'll keep you posted pioneers!

Marching to Masquerade: Day 3

I can't wait to see the new expansion because the Masquerade theme was pretty appealing to me. And the official website of SEA Granado Espada release another breaking news, and it was a somewhat help feature for the pioneers who is in dire need of hunting Frog Fish and Amber Bee!

It was called the Hunter's Association. What I understood with this feature was you are going to talk with some NPC's settled in Bahama Base Camp then they will give you the opportunity to have a Frog Fish and Amber Bee with a price of course. And in return to this favor, it will be easier to our pioneers to finish this part of the quest line. Pretty nifty right? At least its easier for pioneers to continue the quest and made it to Zeia Quest line more faster. Til again I'll keep you posted pioneers!

Before anything else I want to thank all the players and friends who greeted me in my birthday today. And of course am not going to tell how old I am now because its a secret. Haha! Anyway the march to Masquerade continues as another news sprung up from the official news article of the official site.

Ania the warrior from Zeia will be available also in the Masquerade patch. So it means we have the advantage of getting two new RNPCs after the server maintenance. Toy Invasion!

When I was younger, which am not going to tell when was that, I used to have action figures. And these action figures are rewards that my Mom bought for me every time I won awards at my school. Well it was a great joy for me every time I get one and it is rewarding.

Last June 13 2009, I and some of my faction mates went to this wonderful event and was called Toy Convention that was held for 8 years now. The event showcases a variety collection from action figures and other hobbies. And because Granado Espada is technically a hobby, they also join this event along with other E-Games MMORPG.

I enjoyed my stay there and it fed my eyes well because of the wonderful display of different toys and Cosplayers. It was one of my overwhelming experiences and though the scare of H1N1 flu is out there - the avid fans is there to support this event. Til again I'll keep you posted pioneers!

Vend and move?

Today I just confirmed that my character is bug or something? It was the fifth time that a player told me that my shop is open while walking! Okay that sounds insane but to make this situation visible one of my faction mate took a screen shot in-game to prove this weird bug.

In this image you can see that my Musketeer is on the move while the vend window is still open. Weird huh? And yes what you see is true. I don't know if this is an isolated case but I hope this bug will be removed. Til again I'll keep you posted pioneers!

Le Cirque!

I guess most of the pioneers are now anticipating this new expansion and they can't wait to see it. Lately there was an announcement written at RCM Hrin Blog that the release was tentatively on June 18 of this year. So in accordance to this release of the new expansion, the patch needed can be download through HERE. But do take note that you should not install it til the day the expansion will be updated in the server to avoid errors on your client. Shiny red!

Today I just break my curiosity on this weapon series and at least I obtained one. This weapon is from the family of Werewolf series wherein you can farm the required seals at the Culverts.

This head turner weapon becomes catchy maybe because of the natural glow of red. The other set of series which is Ogre series has a green glow on it. Well currently I don't have one yet. These set of weapons can be chipped using level 100 enhancement chip so don't worry about some rumors that veteran chips are needed to improve it's stats. I guess this info might help our pioneers. Hacking spree!

Last night I was suppose to attend the 23:00 Team Arena session. But when my brother checked the faction window he saw his account Artaxerxes logged in. We suddenly tried to log in the account because we are wondering who is using it. Then when we logged in, it seems that the one using my brother's account is currently under negotiation with EldeonRose who is our friend in real life. Then I suddenly sent a message at EldeonRose's Yahoo Messenger and asked him who is the person controlling the Artaxerxes account. He told me a forum name nasher is selling the characters in the official forums of Granado Espada and claims in their in-game chat that the account was sold.

Personally I show my anger thru post in his thread and there is no way of getting back what is lost. Because the nasher in the forums already sold Selva, Expert Elementalist, and Expert Musketeer from the Artaxerxes account. For now my brother is not thinking of reporting this because the account is considered lost because the hacker can access the forums and he can send a ticket also if he wants to. Just like the previous case of Shadowstein account that I myself saw the reply of IAH that the hacker is now accusing me of black mail? Really this is a serious matter and IAH should take action on this. And for the record the people who just lost their account under their control are close to me and I knew them personally!

Right now we are doing some measures to prevent further abuse of this hacker. My brother indeed quit the game and one of our characteristic is not to sell what we have played. So this nasher who claims that the account was sold~ it is not true. My suggestion to IAH is to track down all its transaction because such acts is way too insane. Then I hope they expose the main account responsible for this. So does it mean that everyone is not safe anymore?

Okay if you guys remember the previous event called "Noble's Court" well it never stops there. After 21st of May the nobles court grants another new back costume with premium items which can only be given to those who made it to family level 25 to 30 and labeled as Viscount!

(Vicount Flag is different from the Knights Flag so get one!)

Yeah you're eyes are not blinding you! So if ever you made it to the tier of family level 25 to 30. Visit the Nobles Court Officer in key cities and earn your rewards. So til again I'll keep you posted pioneers!

Taste some Doom!

Apparently there are some not so amusing stuff around Granado Espada and the guys of IAH is trying to solve most of the problems that was reported to them as "ticket". I was freaking messed up last week because we do Gate of Fire raids and suddenly mass disconnection on the same map occur. I don't what was really happening but one of the things I hate most is after the server maintenance which ends my Granado Espada life temporarily.

Yup the undisputed X-Trap of doom that can shake your head up to 100% and injects confusion. Well this one is hard to crack and I am not the only one who have this problem. In my case I tried to uninstall it and re-install it. Well unfortunately I am stuck up with this and now looking at the option of formatting my hard drive. Which I don't want to do because it is a waste of time and specially my files were too many.

For now there is no interesting answer at the forums with this problem because again "in my case" it did not work. Til again I'll keep you posted pioneers!

Oh my Pet!?

Okay the pioneers of the new found world was crazy about getting their own pets. But there is a simple question that sum all the fears of amongst the pioneers. And you know what was the big fear of the new owners and those who are planning to get a pet? The question goes like "What will happen to my pet if he got 0% on its activity level?" I hope from this screen shot the question will be answered.

And yes what you saw is clear! So if by any means that your pet suddenly stopped, don't be afraid, your pet won't say bye bye on you because it felt being neglected. Your pet will still stay but it will simply stop from doing its activity for the game. So I guess this information will ease your worries. Til again I'll keep you posted pioneers!

Seeing things around GE 5

Okay this afternoon pretty nice because the ABS (Adelina Booty Search) was updated again. Actually I don't have any idea that ABS was updated because I am busy training my Catherine of Strength and my Nar. But my attention was caught when a PanPan pet passed by me at the first floor of skullic dungeon. And all I can say was "Erm, ABS is already updated!? What the hell!". Then I started to browse the official web site of Granado Espada and there I found this news article called [ABS] White, Black, and Rainbow!

So because we are already familiar with the Le Blanc, Metallic Suit, La Ventisca and Le Scarce costumes which is exactly look like the Cinderalla armors. I will try to look around for new stuff which are; Rainbow Shield, PanPan, Cronian Thanatos costume, Cronian Nephthes and Naginata.

System Breached?

On every MMORPG the word hack or being hacked is widely used and It sinks to this idea when a certain account was used by someone and the in-game items are lost then speculation arise the transfer said items to another account. Most common incidents are; when a Key Logger was installed in a PC, Spyware are installed, a person peeked on a player while entering their user name and password, and so on with the same manner. Worst case scenarios like deletion of character may result after the hack was successfully executed. And for the victim, he/she will become more frustrated because of the time and money spent.

Recently some member of our faction logged her decoy account because the santossuarez account suddenly has a different password after several minutes. So it leads to logging her decoy account and informed me about the situation but during that time we don't think it that way.

Next was the Shadowstein account. Two weeks ago during the morning around 10:00 AM, his account suddenly logged out then they thought it was just a simple server disconnection. But I sent a message in his YM that why he disconnected in the middle of farming. Then he logged back, there he found a different set of characters. He started to pick the main characters which are two Musketeers and a Bernelli. Then he found out the equipments were all missing. So he decided to return the loaned items to us and changed his account password because of the suspected hack in his account. We all thought it was over but still we are worried about this. In the afternoon around 2:00 PM his account logged out again, his younger brother didn't notice it and after several minutes when he came back he tried to log it in again and the password already changed along with its GE passport in the official site. The fellow faction members was also surprised because they told me the Shadowstein account left the faction. In the end, the owner of the account sent a ticket to IAH but til now there is no progress about the incident. For now he is worried about the retrieval of the account because it might cost him some money which he cannot afford.

After the Shadowstein incident his brother with in-game name †Royals† suffer the same fate but this time the hacker only chooses the costumes and some elites that the faction spared to him. Then the brothers consulted me about the incident through the messenger but I've told them to write IAH for report ticket so they could do action to this matter.

Then a day after the †Royals† hack incident, their dummy account AlexanDerson suffer the same fate though it is far grim because the hacker left a message through his barracks and it read from left to right barracks under the level 1 fighter characters "YOU joatic BEEN QUITGENOW HACKED AGAIN".

Okay it may sound really tough for the four accounts mentioned above but here are the points I want to stress before this incidents happened which directly came from their testimonials. [1] These players play only in their own houses. [2] The common amongst the players are they received an empty e-mail regarding Granado Espada.

In this article, its a clear that the hacker track all the necessary information to the extent of changing the password and all in the GE passport site. Then the interesting part about this hacker is that he knows what to pick on player's account. In my personal opinion the victims for now are not much of a player in game and I see that the hacker is doing some experiments so if he/she performs it to hard core player accounts things will be more easier.

To all the pioneers and IAH people who might read this. You might have different opinions about the series of incident mentioned above the paragraph. But there is one sure thing about this - the matter is serious! They all sent a ticket to IAH but still there is no progress about the incident. We also suggest them to do some reformatting on their PC to clean up nasty program if there such exist. Personally I hope that they could resolve this matter but the victims are worried because it means $$$ for retrieving if we heard it right. And these guys don't have the $$$ to get it back just in case a tiny light will lit for their account's hope. For now my fellow Filipino player inside the faction speculates the empty email, with enclosed Granado Espada as title, sent to these players somehow used as portal to hack their PC at home were they respectively play. May this article serve as warning to our fellow pioneers who plays the game to be more extra careful! I got high hopes that IAH will help the four accounts mentioned above and others cases that is not written here. Til again I'll keep you posted pioneers!

Suggestion: Costume over items

I've been reading the official forums of SEA Granado Espada and there are some topics that really caught my attention and I think it makes sense. Granado Espada has vibrant back costumes lately though it has no special stats unlike the well used premium back wings Lucifer and Devil that gives you additional stats. Here are their suggestions from the official forums of SEA Granado Espada.

"Is it possible to have weapon costume?..." by Grid

"Would it be possible to have permanent costume slot..." by ringofchaos

For now I am with the idea of putting additional equipment slot for back costume. But if I think about the IAH's side, they might say not most of the players are not using the premium back item Lucifer and Devil wings so there is no point of putting another slot for costume over an item. Well if this suggestion work it'll be nice to see pioneers enjoying their back costumes along with their premium wings. Til again I'll keep you posted pioneers!

Operation "N"

After some week of intriguing advertisement at the official web site of SEA Granado Espada, the quoted Operation "N" has been revealed and it seems that most of the pioneers loved it.

Operation "N" gives reward to those pioneers who made it to the tier of level 20 and 25 on their family level. The reward enclosed for level 20 family are; 1 Hrin Liquor, 10 Triumph Filler, 10 Mystic Ampule, 10 Soul Crystals, 50 Progressive Health-Fillers, 50 Progressive Soul-Fillers, 1 Ancient Shelter Pass, 1 Field Survival Manual Master(1 day), 1 Combat Manual Expert (1 day), 1 Tactics Manual Expert (1 day), 3 Noble's Court - Knight (permanent back costume), and you are granted a rank of Knight. Then if your family attained 25 family level you can get 3 Noble's Court - Righteous Knight (flag that increases DEF rating by 1 in 30 days) and granted a rank of Righteous Knight.

In my case my family level is at 25 with 3 additional family level due to faction. So first I claim the Knight rank rewards which is level 20 family reward. And lastly I claim the Righteous Knight rewards through the noble officers located in each key cities. So it means if you met the family level 20 and beyond you get the rewards for this Operation "N" event. And its confirmed for example if your family level is 17 then you have additional 3 levels from your faction that will give you a total of level 20 family level, you are entitled to get the family level 20 reward. So pioneers race your family level and earn the rewards as Knights. Til again I'll keep you posted pioneers!

Today is another server maintenance and I know most of the pioneers are so stoned every time such day occur. To lighten things up IAH Team has something for the pioneers that might get their attention while the servers are down.

About the Event Tab

Many pioneers of the new found world is still asking how to use the event tab. I do hope that this small info will help you use the new feature with ease.

Unlike before certain in-game event such as; Battle Coliseum, Poison Yard and Secret Temple, you have to move to your barracks and warp to the nearest City for easy access on such events. Or another way is having a warp near the officer of these events. But now it is far different and it made things a lot easier.

As you see, when an event triggers all you have to do is press Alt + A to open the quest window. [1] Then you will see an Event Tab. By clicking it, you will see available events that are currently active in the given time. By checking the list on the tab you will see the levels of each instances and the location of the event where you suppose to warp. So if you are anticipating such event and you are in a different map just check the bottom left of the tab and click move. [2]By clicking the move button, a warp will open that leads to the selected event mission. In this example its the Poison Yard.

So pioneers, its easier to participate events right? Next time every event will be visited with ease and less worry of running back to towns close to the event's portal. Til again I'll keep you posted pioneers!

Defence of the Zeia

The new patch of SEA Granado Espada has new features for this expansion. And one of the highlight in this patch are the in-game event most specially the popular ice breaker "DOTZ" also known as "Defence of the Zeia". You read it right, in relation to the popular strategy game from Blizzard Entertainment - Frozen Throne's "Defence of the Ancient". They have the same plot of game play and that is defending your base and taking down the enemy's.

I've played the event for the second time and somehow I already get used to it. DOTZ is pretty different because instead of buying equipments to improve your character, you get personal buff improvements and debuff against opponents. The game play was easy right? But think again.

In DOTA you might able to survive the 1st tower because it hits only one target. But in DOTZ, the tower throws chain lightning so its really hard for a start. Another is to earn gold in DOTZ and you have to pick it up. So if you are not that greedy enough, you know how to wait when to pick up because some players wait their opponent to loot then they kill. Nice strategy right? About the concept of killing other players for gold is different also. Because if a player got killed by another playing while holding gold coins in their inventory well it will drop on the floor. So the gold that drop is free to all so anyone could get it. To avoid it, better be killed by a pushing mob rather to be killed by a player to save your earned gold.

When your team successfully finished the whole game. You will be teleported somewhere in your base and group of treasure boxes will be summoned to earn prizes. Remember that treasure boxes are meant for each member and you cannot get more than what you can open. Well I hope that you guys try other events in this new expansion and most of all enjoy it. E-Games Domination 3: Short Time, Big Time!

In the dry afternoon of April 4, the small band of players from Takhisis Faction took the road to E-Games Domination III and we arrived with high expectation. And our expectations are met! Lets see why I said so.

In our arrival at the venue, we are surprised because the players who attend the event was more massive than last year. The line of people that leads to the entrance was long so they need to separate it to three lines and occupy a lot of space to accommodate more incoming people. Then after an hour we finally made it inside and the lights inside the hall made our tired body loosen up a bit. Then we approached the Granado Espada booth, familiar faces with new players embraced my sight and the feeling was good.

After a while I finally met the champion who secure his video for Pattaya and its non other than a fellow Filipino pioneer - exebolt! We manage to talk for some time, too bad I came late for the event so my time is too short for a talk.

Then one of the cool things to do in this event is taking pictures around with the Cosplayers who gives spice to the ambiance of the event. We are crazy enough to loiter around and take photos and that made our stay worthwhile.

After chasing around people and visiting various gaming booth, our stay was payed off when our faction was awarded through faction banner for second place. The first winner are from the faction of Pinoy All Stars of Rembrandt server. Thanks for the Cosplayer who cosplayed Chuckie the Granado Espada stage brightened up when he went up there and start entertaining us.

The Granado Espada activity was over and our small band decided to go outside and eat then off we go to our humble abode. But it was amazing to meet another old friend and mother to us during the first year of Granado Espada for the Philippine community.

It was our former Community Manager Veya! Currently she is working with another MMORPG handled by E-Games. I really miss those day that she manage to visit various area within the metro just to attend faction eye ball for Granado Espada. And I know she still do it in a more casual way by treating them as friends. To our former CM Veya thanks a lot!

I would like to take opportunity to thank the people behind this wonderful event. From the community managers, game masters, sponsors, cosplayers, and players who gave their time to make the event successful through participation. I hope next year more activities will be provided to numerous attendees and more players will be encouraged to join this great annual event of E-Games. Have you ever tried walking around with an RNPC that has connection with another RNPC? Yesterday I came from work and I feel walking around at Cite Reboldeoux with my Kurt Lyndon a Baron RNPC. Then I remember the story way back when I took him as a part of Fiksdotter family. So I've decided to visit Sir Lyndon a visit to his majestic abode at Cite Reboldeoux using my Kurt.

Kurt: Oh yeah I miss my step father. I'll visit him.

Well unfortunately our visit is not that really pleasant and I therefore conclude among other MMORPG, RNPC's here at Granado Espada have their own personal grudges to each other. And this is what happend.

Untamed Pioneers

Today I was camping at Treasure Golem's lair located at the far end of Tetra Golden Road. Well at least I got my self a Symbol of Taurus and I was happy to have one for vis purposes. Unfortunately some players from a distinguished faction accused me of reporting that player as a bot. Which he is trying to imply I'm abusing the feature just to win against the feebled Treasure Golem. Then these players trash talking me and insulting me, but I told them if you have evidence that I report him as bot then insult me further. In the end of the conversation they say nothing but useless statement displaying their arrogant behavior in-game. This example could be an isolate case but many players suffer from these players who came from spending faction. They look others below them in regardless of what they want to say against a player without being careful. I've heard many cases relevant to this, players who are offended sent a complain to IAH management but they couldn't take further action to this arrogant players because they are alleged spenders of the game so the offended players claim that they maybe immune to punishment. I hope there are no special treatment on this players that doesn't help the community build friendship accross countries. Because if this things further happen, division among players will be established and players will start to hate each other. To pioneers who still play the game, if you came accross arogant players such I encountered try to be patient because they might ruin your day. Til again I'll keep you posted pioneers.

sGE current state - Continue?

By far best Granado Espada is one of the most impressive MMORPG and there are good and bad points of the game. There are certain issues in-game and there are forseeable crisis on the game aspect and culture. I'll give you some issues and most points are from collective statements of players of Granado Espada SEA.

Third Party Program/Bots
Congratulations to IAH and IMC for successfully dumping the bot population for almost three weeks. Unfortunately there are some who are not in favor about it and some minority of non-botter alas for it. In my personal opinion the GEC (GE Crazy) is not completely getting rid off. Macro users says its unfair because this script saves them real money instead of spending it for GEC. If you will see the climate of players, its more of if you want to keep on phase of the game use GEC. This issue is very sensitive to every MMORPG thus there should be a system that must be implemented which favors every type of user.

In-game Items
It was a blessing that everyone gets the advantage of acquiring elite 92 armor recipe through ABS (Adelina Booty Search). But there are things that spoils the game, Dragon Heart Recipe (DHR) start spawning the ABS turning King of Greed useless. Even the latest ingredient Ti/Te and other runes only found in Zeia are now loots from ABS. Better yet they throw Serpent and Chess series instead rather that hurting the economy badly. Its like more of "I have tons of money no need to explore the game". Well for some opinions thrown by the so-called "All-knowing" forum lurkers, they say it opens opportunity to those who can't explore the game. I say its wrong, motivation of spoon feeding is more I likely to hear. They always say dominant faction always get the good stuff. Again its a wrong statement, because they raid for it with efforts of catching up time with numerous Boss. The forum lurkers of Granado Espada actually haven't tried camping Boss for a straight week, so reading to their "All-knowing" post is completely non-sense and irrelevant to those players who knows how to raid. Unfortunately the tide of trade in my server is more of Premium Item equal to a certain in-game item well that includes G-Points code.

Dimnishing number of Players
Contributory factory of the game was the two points above mentioned. Another one that crack the balls of GE supporters are lack of effort from local distributors in terms of advertisement. Many times this issue has been raised for almost two years and there are no visible efforts from the local distributors. In the case of Philippine community, most common answer to this is they cannot further keep the phase of the game. Spending become essential to the game, unlike other MMORPG they can still keep up the phase with optional spending. For example everyone can get a certain item that is reputable in-game through means of raiding and farming. Then premium items only count because of further enhancement. Well in my personal opinion this idea is good, unfortunately IMC nerfed some important drops that is essential for crafting. In my experience Snail skins and Chess pieces were like in the whole 12 hours of playing I only acquire 1-2 pieces. Take note that is not everyday, it always drop to luck and you need 30 pieces of it to create a reputable weapon in-game. In short this will take you a life time, and to cut this life time you spend more to get these in Adelina Booty Search. The game is fast phased and at least IMC should reconsider un-nerf drop rates of items necessary for crafting. And players became tasteless to this system in-game which really force players to shed away.

Fortunately sGE has not that much to rant about but the fact that the most essential parts of every MMORPG was strafed; In-game items, botting, players, and premium items. I still believe in SEA Granado Espada and the management that holds it. I hope they should see these point because the things they thought was good sometimes cause backfire to the game itself. The second year of Granado Espada SEA is near hope things will turn up a lot better. Til again I'll keep you posted pioneers.

I was really happy and accomplished that I acquired the character Nar and included him in my barracks. But unfortunately after all the extravagant introduction of Nar for the Zeia expansion, his blunt was forgotten by the developer. I was training him at Rion Prairie when I realize he cannot equip a sword and his blunt is currently level 60. So that means I have to wait for a pain in the ass level 84 to somehow equip him with the next blunt weapon which is the shaft hammer. Well just an observation if you are using third party program you may not identify this mistake. Then again I admire the fight of IAH and IMC against botting. Narccomplished!

Yesterday after some frequent disconnection from our service provider, good thing that my faction mates informed me a squad was created for Occulta. I was really ready for this quest scenario, not to mention I have my 5pcs of Te with me. We do the quest around 20:00 so it means its twilight time outside the Zeia outskirts. We reached the entrance and everyone is ready for some action.

Upon entering Occulta Fortress, we already anticipate sudden death if traps manage to kill us so we have soul crystals with us. Upon heading an area where we could hunt down for Kobold Elder, we passed by some Dullahan Guards and many spike traps that stuns you and hits your family simultaneously. And it hurts a lot, every use of soul crystal its either my characters are being knocked back or stunned to death. We've managed to pass through these traps and Dullahans then now we found a spot for refuge and safe hunt on Kobold Elders.

After an hour of hunting, we return to the Zeia captain to accomplish the task. After talking to the captain I move to Nar and voila his character card is now mine. Hope you'll try this quest and make sure you have several or more pieces of soul crystals to survive the traps. I'll keep you posted pioneers.

Fizzled Narcapade

In such great esteem I pull my family together and continue the recruitment quest for Nar. And its quite hard due to AR/DR differences of my weapon against the monsters involved in the quest. I've collected 50 pcs Rhodolite pieces and submitted it to the Zeia Captain beside Queen Hamaan. And am stuck now at Killing 10 Kobold Elder because you must enter Occulta and by doing so you will need 5pcs Te or 5pcs Ti in order to enter. Remember that Te rune will permit you to enter Occulta only during the night or twilight and Ti rune is used during morning or meridian.

And pioneers there is a part in the quest that you must protect Nar against spawning Zeia monsters. Imagine all of them in 62 AR/DR! But I use the strategy of luring away from Nar using a fighter then nuke with Elementalist in Fire Domination stance then my Claude sweeping them using Mighty Cruz stance. For now am on the verge of proceeding Occulta but I'm looking for a squad mate in order to finish the quest with ease.

It was a rough week and for me a good sight on sprites walking around Granado Espada will definitely change your mood. For example, during our camp in Porto Bello Catherina Saloon, one of my faction mates have a taste of getting his new pet. Yeah its Rudolph the red nose rain deer. This pet heals 1,500 HP on your family during active battle and even at the city.

February, a month were people who have a relationship consider this month a very special day for them. Well it goes with dating primarily and its obvious due to tradition. But then again it does not mean playing Granado Espada alone kills your relationship because they say its only another digital dimension. Sorry guys but in Granado Espada there are lovers inside the new found world. So this is my entry for FAA in a form of poster.

Its been a week and am kinda busy with some real life appointments though I manage some things in particular. Yesterday was the first time I've created a 30sec ad for Granado Espada and it was really odd for me too bad am only used in writing and creating thoughts. Well shamelessly I did it, not expecting for any win at least it was an accomplishment for me. Sunday Narcapade!

I woke up today and I was on the verge of training my Selva to Veteran when suddenly someone caught my attention at the City of Auch.

Yes~ your eyes don't fool you of whatsoever! Nar the warrior of Zeia is available for recruitment and I can't wait to have one. For now am figuring things out how can I finish the quest more faster because the monsters within the region of Zeia are 62 AR/DR which is quite hard in my case. But what I can see is that most of the monsters in Zeia are wild beasts so its advisable to have Musketeers with wild beast option on your pistols for faster killing. Yesterday was one the greatest day for me at Granado Espada. Imagine after I successfully updated the client around 11:45 then after some time around 12:25 the Zeia was opened through efforts of our current Chancellor Mahoney of Le Conquistador.

I rushed inside the Reboldeoux Culverts and engage to the door that will open for Zeia. But I have to do some quests for Emilia Gulliano who is located in the Port of Coimbra. Then After killing some monsters in Culverts that is required for her quest I move back to her. Then She instructs me to have a conversation with Brunie. I talked to the NPC Brunie and she handed over to me the key to the gate inside Culverts that has the route to Zeia. And voila, Zeia embraced me with astonished welcome to the new civilization.

After exploring the Zeia region I proceed on doing my Selva quest. I begin my Chaos Requiem quest and as time goes by, I realized that am already doing the Selva quest proper. Around 21:15 I camped at Corridor of Assize at Gehenna bridge. Then I've met DivineSaint, Devolton, and Oldguys. We managed to take down Dr. Fran Morthein effortlessly and gave us a death count of one making the current quest complete. I left the squad and I do some other quest related to Selva's quest. Around 22:10 I moved to Katovic Snowfield to continue the quest. In this part am close of getting Selva and am about to hunt for the Avalanche Apparition. When I move to Snow Plain again I've seen DivinSaint, Devolton, and Oldguys camping for Avalanche so they squad me up instantly. Then we managed to take down the Apparition and Montoro at the same time. We were happy because the four of us finished the quest.

Now I have my own Selva at my barracks, but too bad I don't have Eduard Jameson the love triangle will be completed. Well I think Kurt, Gavin, and Selva would be a great team up don't you think? So til again I'll keep you posted pioneers.

Welcome to New Civilization

Yesterday the new civilization Zeia has revealed itself to the pioneers of the new found world. For now the updates are visible through their official website.

And the sought after update is when Selva can be included in your barracks so be prepared to get her. But make sure you have the necessary quest to gain access of getting this lovely RNPC. The only thing that most pioneers are held up of not accessing the server is the problem of getting their client updated maybe due to high traffic. Attention at Maximum!

I can still remember last year's competition the Fantazzztic Film Awards and now we here comes another one. This year IAH organized another competition and is called the Fantazzztic Ad Awards. Before anything else lets define advertising shall we?

Based on wikipedia they define "Advertising is a form of communication that typically attempts to persuade potential customers to purchase and to consume more of a particular brand of product or service"

Well unlike last year Fantazzztic Film Awards is more of artistry in short film making and this season the competition focuses on Advertisment which is more challenging because now a days media ads is one of the power form of advertisment. Media advertisment requires powerful and precise information about a product and it all depends to execution.

Most of my friends in Granado Espada is now asking if Team LeBlanc will go for it. For now its a hanging question for our team. When a weirdo pass by

Bot on most on-line games are rampant and in addition bot are third party programs that manipulate your avatar to grind levels for you instead. There are pros and cons about using third party programs but it is quite long to discuss. One of the features of Granado Espada is reporting other pioneers as a bot. Most pioneers use this feature when they suspect a players is using third party program and most cases are their spot was occupied by third party program users. But in this entry it is quite odd, so ready carefully.

That was one weird pioneer, asking me to report him then he was sent to jail due to disconnection. I know what is running through his mind but unfortunately his plan is epic fail.

Back in Action!

(Product of boredom during yesterday's lag fest)

After days of lag and intermittent disconnection issues, IAH's technical team redeemed themselves today. When they resume their connection, the lag spikes in the server are gone. But for now, the issue is the lost of G-Points in their premium item inventory. For now IAH is in the process of resolving the issue and least the pioneers will enjoy tomorrow's colony wars. Then again I'll keep you posted pioneers.

Yesterday I hate how things go. First I consider mine as "isolated case" but the idea is not all players can throw Ancient Territory passes everyday because of this abrupt maintenance. If I'm not mistaken, the original announcement was like one hour server reset due to blah blah. Well case is closed because they've done it already and what can players ask? Nothing at all.

One of the things that caught my attention are the community crews in the official forum thread. Isn't that annoying after some replies from the community crew, they actually reply to the thread, and at the end the captain will suddenly close the thread. Okay everything has its explanation but I do hope they consider assigning people for moderation and whatsoever because they are too many.

And today around 16:44, we are in the middle of King of Greed raid when suddenly we cannot access server. Oh well at least the resumed it after 5 mins, Then after that I could not warp to other maps. Well its up for our technical people at IAH to work on things. As for you pioneers avoid 1 day activated premium items due to this sudden disconnection.

Things that made the New Year Right

Well I admit New Year hang over is quite messy when embracing the new year. And as for Rembrandt there are cool things to be known. First stop, the official announcement of the new community crew who resides from Rembrandt server. Next is the execution of Novia wherein the allied faction Eminence and Symbols Faction impressively defeated the nemesis of the Ice Wizard's Tower. Blood donation drive also took place in Singapore and help lives through this glorious act but the pioneers also have something in hand, GE goodies! Another thing is, the GM's made their first in-game event called Trivial Question and Answer wherein the pioneers will respond to questions using microphones to broad their answer. And for those pioneers craving for item of the month, IAH made an extension til 30th of January. And congratulations to Destiny Faction for making the first sunday of January, because they hold the highest colony point after an exhausting war. Lastly, the hidden civilization of Zeia is on its way to the new found world so are you ready for this?

We have a good new start this 2009 and I hope things will be better as time goes by. So again I'll keep you posted pioneers!

A Farewell to 2008!

I can't believe that another year ended and am thankful that most of the things in-game progressed but some things were not. Base on my collective conversation with players through messenger and through in-game, there are popular events that most pioneers could not forget.

January - In this month the Fantazzztic Film Awards competition continues, Project Hostile Takeover event, Valentines Day Event, and E-Card Challenge took place this first month of 2008.

February - The Fantazzztic Film Awards competition continues as they trimmed down the most deserving entries for next March's final showdown. Events like; Love Me, Date with a GM, Fortune Master's Bok-Jo-Ris, and year of Ararat put the pioneers into quests and some exposure through the regions of Bahamas.

March - This month formaly introduced Girl Gamers of the new found world through the official web site that was originally organized at the Philippines to give support to our girl gamers. In addition the Fantazzztic Film Awards ended and determined the champions and all entries hailed from the players themselves in the Philippines.

April - Real life event like the E-Games domination overwhelmed the pioneers of the Philippines. Thanks to RCM Hrin by visiting the pioneers of the Philippine community. Other in-game events like Colony Wars: The Reckoning, Return of the Dark Lord, April Fools, Garage Sale, and Town invation keep the pioneers busy for this month.

May - The community celebrates with Australia and New Zealand and premium item promotions was released by this month.

June - Version 2.6 was further introduced specially in the real life events in the Philippines along with Malaysia, Singapore, and Australia with respective events. In addition the new found world celebrates the independence day of the Philippines and Singapore hosts the Carnival Draw event.

July - RNPC event by Vicente Rio himself amassed the pioneers through winning his in-game costume if you reach veteran level cap for Rio. The event like Friday Knights kept the pioneer's pvp skill to the challenge. Real life events in Malaysia was included this month through PvP Challenge and Live GE KAC electronic sport event.

August - The community captains and GM in-game made some visits in each server to organize in-game events. The result of community screen competition was also released this month.In addition another real life event in Cebu, Philippines was included in the list of events.

September - Back to back PvP hosted at Singapore and the Philippines kept the pioneer's pvp skill intact.

October - The worlds tremble when the servers Cervantez, Carracci, Caravaggio, Pachelbel, and Vivaldi was officially merged. PK servers became Bach and Non-PK servers became Rembrandt. The Philippine GE community celebrates their 1st anniversary through a Black Party.

November - A month long colony wars started, stating that distinguished colony has a corresponding price when occupied by a faction. GM event Pet Day was also took place along with Route A La Domination. RNPC Claire and Calyce was also introduced to the new found world and don't forget the good news for the Filipino pioneers who long for higher conversion of G-Points to E-Points.

December - Christmas events like Naughty and Nice event and Show your love kept the pioneers busy to express their Christmas greetings through creative works of art. IAH also announced a PH community outing organized by the players itself. Not to mention the introduction to Zeian was started so the pioneers of the new world will sought after this amazing expansion this January.

The year was tough and full of laughters. But in the end of the day we still share the community and the game we've enjoyed for almost two years. Til again, Happy new year to the pioneers of the new found world!

Naughty and Nice 2008: Final Day

Naughty and Nice 2008: Day 1 of 2

Today Santa visits the new found world and the pioneers cheered when he came. Around 16:23 Santa bids his hello to the pioneers and started to give cheers to them by announcing the winners of the said event. Their wishes can be found at the official forums in form of poem, song, and even images. And here are the winners of the first day visit of Santa.

I can't believe it's Christmas again and hey reality check am still playing the game. Talking about in-game, most of our faction members from Singapore have their Christmas party and most of us here in the Philippines we've decided to have a post-Christmas party here at my LAN shop on the 28th. Well I hope our plan of a post-Christmas party will work.

In terms of wishes, I do have my own and I made a simple Christmas card with some images in-game of my characters and real life GE gatherings as my entry for naughty and nice. So whats with the idea? Well simple, many of the pioneers of the new found world focus in-game and was never proud to show the community that they exist through real life gatherings. My wishes White Cristatus, 70k G-Points, and Item of the month ~ I hope they will be granted this year.

Murky week!

Its been a week I haven't posted because I was held up of buying gifts and even thinking my wishes out for the naughty and nice event. Well thanks to DeSanggria for revealing one of the mysterious back costume now I'm enticed to have one.

This week was dull for me because of the usual things to do inside our faction, you know keeping up the phase and sometimes am not enjoying it anymore. Am not telling that I don't like the faction I am included but I hope there are more quests in this game. I guess I've finished much and still looking for more.

I have the urge to power-level most of my characters in my barracks but again by the beard of Sir Lyndon! Combat manuals are so rare (FYI, 15 days and 30 days individual manuals cannot be sold separately so you are forced to buy packages with some not-so-useful stuff with it) and I mean rare! And currently, conversion of E-Points and G-Point ain't stable for now so am completely no move at all.

Oh by the way Giovanni the new PK server is out later this afternoon, too bad we cannot transfer our accounts there. But there are perks included when you made some accomplishments, so check it out here for more information.

Colony War? Duh think again!

Am not posting just to report yesterday's colony wars but instead am here to rant about this slime tactic. And besides am seething with annoyance with this dirty use of spinelles on the so called colony wars!

This is the first 15 mins before the war at Bona Vista river and Pradera Ceniza, the opposing faction already stormed the respective colonies with numerous spinelles. Actually, the alliance where my faction stood aim for spin-less colony wars but what would you expect the opposing alliance is use to find ways of dirty tactic. I don't know, if this opposing alliance is really used to be the bad guys in Rembrandt and there is no new to that. So in the end we let them eat their own spinelle tactic, but unfortunately the opposing alliance bagged many colonies because we are caught unaware.

I don't care of what they might say because this entry of mine is a rant! I really do hope IAH or IMC might consider 1:1 summon of spinelles or might consider removing it completely to avoid abuse.

I'll keep you posted pioneers and as I say if ever spinelles are still available in weeks to come, you might change your mind not to go colony wars.

GE Christmas tidbits

December is one of the much awaited month to most pioneers of the new found world. And this month there are things to be noted and I hope you participate on it.

Now you can have this two Christmas items from Leonardo Expresso himself; the Santa hat and Rudolph hat that can be wear by stock characters. Thanks from team GE for sharing this wonderful Christmas hats!

The next one was the forum event called "Show your Love" wherein you can send your wishes through a form of poem, song, blog entry, video, or anyway you like it special. Well all in all the war of the factions is a total mess, the essence of defending and attacking colonies are insignificant in this event. It's more of I break the colony, then I will spam a horde of spinelles and lets see if you can withstand the lag and abrupt disconnection. This is considered abuse and I hope again they will reconsider removing this spinelle on those bellem boxes sold at the item NPCs. After Manny Pacquiao's victory against Oscar de la Hoya, I felt glad because he emerge champion after this dream fight. Well my imagination flies when even in Granado Espada, a distinguished RNPC Jean Pierre Gascon reminds me of his relevant stance as a professional boxer. You might say I imagining too hard but as you can see most of the martial artists in Granado Espada are almost relevant to the fighting styles of a real sport. Now tell me pioneers of the new found world, does any on-line game that can match the complexity of this game? For now try to find out if any.

Well Errac was named in kGE so there are chances that sGE will change it's name. Real Life Event: GE PH outing

Yesterday I was sluggish but it turns out to be good and I admit it was a surprise for me. The outing yesterday was suppose to be a Bloggers meeting but RCM Hrin suggests that to put it in the official web site and declare it as a GE PH community outing. And in the other hand CM Aethrin supported us by sending out goodies for the pioneers who will attend.

We've talked about a lot of things like organizing GE Cosplayers, concerns about in-game, suggestion to strengthen the community, the much awaited version 3.0, and many more. Each conversation was meaningful because this is the first time that from two worlds, Bach and Rembrandt, these guys shares everything under the sun specially the laughs behind their respective servers.

We ended the day with a dinner and some walk around the mall. Everything was great and I can't ask for anything more. Well we are expecting more gatherings like this and I hope it will continue.

Update: Faction Wars 3rd week

The colony wars yesterday was abit predictable in terms of defense and usual tactics. But it was great to check on the results because there are movements in terms of colony occupation. And here are the results.

As you can see some of the factions in Bach managed to secure some colonies for them and at least fighting the big factions in two hours are worth their glory. In terms of Rembrandt, the colony wars was normal in terms of no specific target colony. And again the colony wars in my opinion for the past weeks is not nice at all. The colony wars is now like, we occupy the colony, face the wrath of the mini boss spinelle which wear off the essence of colony wars. I hope the people concern about programming should be aware that this spinelles are not of any help anymore. So again I'll keep you posted pioneers!

GM Event: Nov 29th

Yesterday's event was somehow expected due to same set up though am expecting development inside the GM's Lair. RCM Hrin and GM Heaven appeared at the City of Auch channel 1 around 15:30 with a notice to give hint that they will be having an event today.

After 10-15 mins, they summon the event gate, but before hand the pioneers were told that if there are known bugs, feedback are entertained for the improvement of the said event zone.

The red error boxes are still there along with the huge void room but as usual the method of killing bosses like Lava leaf, Novia, etc. are still the same. Then after killing some event boss, wisps will appear so the pioneers will get loot from it.

At the end of the event GM Heaven informed the pioneers that in their miscellaneous tab there is an event ticket wherein you could exchange for rewards. And by having one you are permitted to click huge treasure chest and get your reward. Base on what I got along with others, three pieces of level 100 enhancement chip was given to each ticket surrendered to the huge treasure chest. Unfortunately there are some pioneers who abuse it. How? My friend told me you just reconnect back to Auch then enter the Event Zone portal. So if you could do it many times, you can be rewarded more than the reward of three level 100 chips.

Personally GM Heaven was nice this time because he bothers to say good-bye before he left the event. Thanks also to RCM Hrin by showing up at the event. But I hope next time, GM's should chat ban those irresponsible and arrogant pioneers who insults and use profanity inside the event.

I know the pioneers are looking forward of seeing improve events in the future. So pioneers again I'll keep you posted.

How was everything?

(Takhisis Faction 1 year anniversary as a social faction)

Looking back at May 6, 2008 article entry from my previous faction blog site I began to miss the good old days. The days that we are plainly happy that if we got a colony, its a big accomplishment to us as a faction. But now, i saw my fellow Filipino pioneers who are players and friends in real life fell like dried leaves. By the beard of Lyndon! They are quitting progressively in numbers!

Now these are the things I've realized:
1. As a Filipino player of Granado Espada, it's really hard to compete economic-wise. Why? G-Points at Singapore were sold cheaper and Filipino players must spend twice the price on everything. In short Singapore players have full access on everything. So its really considered are Singapore server and not quoted as Southeast Asia server anymore. So personally I accept that fact.

2. The AR/DR system gives great gap on everything. In short, again spend more so you will augment your equipments along with your characters to keep up.

3. I am happier with a faction that has good people inside rather than being put into the pedastal as a faction but the consequences were worst. And besides inside a big faction is just killing the curiousity of having seeing and getting better equipments but in the end all of these will be good as digital dust.

There will be sudden turn in my personal gaming, I rather to choose to have my gaming life back. I'll keep you posted pioneers.

Name the 3rd Server

After scanning through the suggestive names from our fellow pioneers, I found out that most of them just drop names for them to be luckily pick. And I see the mere fact that aligning a suggestive server name can be applaud if it reflects on its real name as defined by history and the contest is getting "you just post without researching".

When you say baroque, it is not a word that only define a time frame but it gives highlight about the past that gives shape to beauty; architecture, classicism, painting, etc. that contributes history. Am not giving lecture here pioneers but suggesting a good name for a third server and is PK should have a nicer name.

All I can hope is a sincere poster will win this particular contest of naming the 3rd server coming this December. Eventually if the winner comes from a poster who just list down names, I might strongly say that poster does not care to research and I pity those who gives information about their suggestive server name entry.

To all the pioneers good luck on this contest, hope the well deserve win.

The colonies were tightly defended and some where lost due to some surprise attacks from faction who just show up. Well evidently, the admins must shuffle the prized colonies so that there will be sudden changes in the trend of tactics. GM Event: Pet Day

Pet on the block!

Novia summoned and ready to rumble

Today I made it through the Pet Day event, the GM was found at Jezebel Glen. Then after a while the GM summon us to event room. There we fought Novia, Vergo, (2x) Lava Leaf, and (2x) Griffon. Every time they die, wisps will appear and there you get loots. Unfortunately, the most decent loot was an Elite 84 Robe with 3DR option. And the sad part was the GM left without saying even a simple good bye. Anyway the idea for this kind of event was nice and further improvement will be expected by the pioneers of the new found world. So again, I'll keep you posted.

Sounds good right? Well I hope it'll be sooner because G-Points here in the Philippines are really hard to find. You may consider it rare! But I hope that we have the 70k GP card because its really good to have one. Most of our Filipino pioneers buy 70k GP through their friends from Singapore using money transfer. Claire Quest: Prepare for Lolita Justice!

This is the information gathered and confirmed about Claire's Quest and am already half-way to finish it.

How to trigger the Quest:
Meet the NPC Claire at the City of Auch with Claude Baudez as your leader in squad. Do take note that there is no specific level of what Claude Baudez you bring.

Quest Proper:
* After talking with Claire for the quest trigger, remove Claude Baudez in your team.
* Claire will give you a letter to be send for Claude, look for him at Cite Reboldoeux.
* Claude will give back a letter addressed to Claire, look for her again.
* The quest will describe Claude's test for Claire, so you will now move to Jose Cortazar at the Port of Coimbra.
* When you found Jose Cortazar, he will ask for some avocado sandwich which are sold at Lisa also at the Port of Coimbra.
* After you hand over the avocado sandwich, Jose will ask for 50,000 vis and 50 family reputation.
* Jose will now send you to an instance mission of eliminating 3 Escudo Pecher.
*After accomplishing this mission, you will now buy an Elemental Jewel that costs 10,000,000 vis that can be bought at item dealers in different towns.
* When you hand over to Claire the jewel and the quest item from Jose Cortazar, you are about to meet; Reboldoeux Investigating Team (H7 Cite Reboldoeux), Coimbra Emilia (J7 Port of Coimbra), and Enhancement Merchant Rio (H6 City of Auch). They will respectively give you; large age watch, headband, and rucksack quest items.
* Meet Claire again, and this time the quest will ask for a hunt.
* The quest will require 2 Unknown ores that can be found at Bona Vista River. You must kill some or more Elite Storm Cockatrice to get the quest drop Unknown ores.
* After acquiring 2 Unkown ores, move to Claude Baudez and this time he let Claire to join with you.
* Congratulations you have Claire on your family.

On my personal note, the quest was easy on lurking around the cities looking for NPC's. But the major problem was hunting the Elite Storm Cockatrice. Be reminded that if you could put your family to "Keep Mode" at Bona Vista River, use Musketeer type for fast kill and go to sleep if the Unknown ore is not lucky to slip on your quest counter. The quest above are now modified for sGE and previous changes was made from original kGE quests. Enjoy and more patience to you pioneers!

Peace at Poison Yard?

Yesterday night was the most peaceful Poison Yard super fight I went into. Imagine I just pass by them and they are busy farming Sunstone for Feso. Remember that sunstone (special stone to sell for feso) can be found through super fights and premium territories.

So how can I get one? At super fights just kill normal mobs there and also include super fight raid boss. On the other hand, in premium territories, just look for a monster that carries a treasure chest which are usually dull in color but luminous. The other source of Feso inside premium territories are the announced mini boss so make sure you pawn them before other family does.

Well unfortunately pioneers, avoid no mercy factions who does not understand the tagged word "Farming" inside any super fights. I'll keep you posted pioneers and good luck on farming stones for feso!

A furball was born!

I was really happy because another a new member to my family was added awhile. And this is my first pet, a grabber! I named him Dolce with a family name that comes along with me. So it goes like "Dolce Fiksdotter". It was really cute when you see it walks around following, most especially grabbing loots while on training. Having one requires additional task to me, its either I feed it through G-Points or Feso through raids and training at premium territories. We'll see what he can do as time goes by, I hope he can throw stones at pioneers who steals training spot. Just kidding!

Welcome to version 2.9

After the server maintenance most of the pioneers are overwhelmed of what happened to Granado Espada. There are things noticeable in this game; from UI tool tip, new RNPC, new NPC, Feso system, and most especially the pet system.

Well there are some questions like where could the pet quest begin? What is Feso? Where is Calyce? There are answers that I can share to you.

For the pet quest go a Pet Expert located outside of Bahia. Talk to him twice to trigger quest. Next he will tell you to snatch an egg. Proceed to first zone of Island of Fire. Look for a stone, take note this is a clickeable stone, then you are brought to hidden mushroom cave. Once you snatch the egg go back to Pet Expert. He will bring you to an instance mission, remember eliminate the cute mother and don't let Pet Expert die. After this go back to Pet Expert, he will bring you to the green house and look for an unhatched egg. Then you are to visit the egg with a total of 3 Days visit, take note this is literal 24 hour increment. Then after that prepare to feed your own pet and in return it will serve you right.

Next is the Feso system. Okay there are questions where to get this currency. Base from RCM Hrin herself, there are loots from; Forgotten Territories, Ancient Territories, and Superfights that drops moonstone and sunstone that can be sold to Feso Market in exchange for Feso.

Okay where is Calyce Bernelli? She can be found inside Pegadilla in the Port of Coimbra. Just do some easy scenario quests and give off 50 mysterious powder. And congratulations! You successfully have her in your family. Oh by the way don't get confused on her story, again she is female not male!

One of the issues right now are some changes in consumables like the 30-day Combat Manual is gone from the list of Premium Items at Leticia. And the most controversial is the Microphone and Mega phones that is now converted as premium item, that can be bought for 150-200 G-Points.

My personal opinion about the microphone and megaphone turning them to premium, IAH is trying to eliminate vis sellers who are 24/7 spamming the broad. Yes there are ways that they could get their asses to promote vis selling but it will somehow ease the broad space. For others this is unfair because this is the only way they could sell their wares. But the point is, yes its kinda hassle to most of the pioneers though we must remember that broad has been a source of scamming, broad hate, and senseless broads. On the other hand, IAH should explain their opinion about this and most especially the 30-day Combat Manual that is now gone at the premium item shop.

Blood Fest for Rembrandt

It seems the new pioneers of Rembrandt knew their target in this Colony War. And the results are pretty obvious as you look through the territories.

I agree on the idea that in this server merge, the pioneers along with their factions will unite to try and take down their former server tyrants. And I think most of the pioneers love the result of this first Colony Wars for Rembrandt. But the next question is, will this result be consistent or they will try another path to change things up? But do take note - a good alliance is better than good equips because numbers still count.

Well who knows, its for you to decide pioneers so good luck. Congratulations to the first Colony holders of Rembrandt Server.

When Worlds Collide 4

After the previous world migration, it seems the pesky technical problems won't say bye bye yet for another time.

Most pioneers had this "_2 - and so on" after their family name which means they failed to delete same family name from another server. Well unfortunately it also count at faction names. For now the solution for screwed family names is through GE Royal Service Change. As for faction names, they have to file a ticket at the official Granado Espada web site.

One of the problems encountered is the abuse of changing family names which was use for scamming other pioneers to their advantage. In addition, it is so confusing because some pioneers use the service twice which in my case I don't talk too much in my faction because I don't know whose who.

Instances like trade become hard also because there is no stable market price yet. Some tend to overprice others stick to their previous server price. Raid boss is stiff in terms of competition, well Vergo early today is like seconds to kill. Wow Vergo - you are the next remake of Diablo of Pradera Ceniza. Training spots were also difficult to find due to high volume of pioneers.

Well I guess things might get better in days to come. I hope we had another channel for us to train. But the next big thing is the much awaited Colony Wars this 19th.

Well as mentioned at the official Granado Espada forums, the world migration will be finished on the 16th at around 18:00 (GMT +8). As you can see the official forums has updated most of the threads with the new server names' Bach and Rembrandt.

As for me, I did some renovation on my blog site so the old Carracci feeling will be gone at least by sight. So I hope you guys appreciate the new modification on my blog site. I want to recognize the efforts made by Casafuego of Templars Faction (from Pachelbel server) by creating this wonderful banner of my favorite line up in Granado Espada. My few last memories with Carracci

The server I loved and lived on will be gone forever and before Carracci closes I managed to take a screen shot of the current Colony holders.

Congratulations to All-Stars, Le Conquistador, Destiny, and Eminence to embark the last Colony Wars with their faction names all over the map of Carracci. I hope these factions will show its strength on the first colony wars for Rembrandt server where we all going to migrate.

Well before the end of Carracci I did some things like participating in Gate of Lightning, killing Diablo by myself, and reached cute Viki to 100. Which somehow make my day though am so sick and ill.

It takes two to Tango

Every noon of 12:00 pm the Secret Temple, Poison Yard, and Battle Coliseum opens during this time and it means PK Raid is available for every pioneers of Granado Espada.

Well this PK Raid was quite unusual because when I've entered the Poison Yard I was alone but good thing Jenheart was there for a fair share of raid. Well for further info she was one of the featured girl gamer stated on this article.

I was so impressed because we managed to take down Chimera in 13 minutes and I am thankful there were no other pioneers inside the dreaded PK Raid.

Server Merge Postponed

It seems the pioneer's anticipated server merge was been moved to another schedule. It is stated at RCM Hrin's Blog that there are some reasons why they cancelled the October 7th World Migration and I guess the reason is quite alright. Aside from players who are not informed, there are factors in the forums like they had already activated their timed premiums (Lucifer Wings, Forgotten Territory passes, Ancient Territory passes, Combat Manuals, etc.) so as I understood this span of time is enough to inform most of the pioneers out there who don't know the news yet. So for those pioneers out their please refrain from activating long timed premiums especially that lasts for 7-30 days because you might be sorry in the end.

Granado Espada 3.0 Trailer

I think most of the pioneers are not that informed about the new trailer. After the version 2.6 GE trailer has been praised due to its brief transitions to make the version a sought after. This version 3.0 trailer is totally wicked and make you continue exploring the game. I am proud to say, Granado Espada is a "What you see what you get" game that you could not resist playing. So don't get caught with fancy posters of other MMORPG then playing it pixelated.

Wow the last days are really approaching, twist and turn folly as the alliances tries to change. It seems the current situation of alliances are more of "Spender vs Principle". Who do you think deserves to be the most powerful in the new two servers? Well lets see who is going to be the "Subordinate and The Manipulator" a vicious cycle that can be determined by choices.

Because am quite happy today, I let Claude wear his Musashi Costume and I guess it was really nice to him. To all pioneers out there, choices what you made in-game determines the fun you might get on the months to come.

When Worlds Collide 2

Well it seems the panic expressed by the pioneers of different worlds turns out to be an advantage that can be used. There I heard most factions in sworn political alignments starts to talk about alliances and discusses potential primary target in the upcoming first Colony Wars for the new servers Bach (Merged PK Servers) and Rembrandt (Merged Non-PK Servers) on the 12th of October. Well now it seems the worlds that collide will be sink in a bitter oblivion of political stress and of course more challenge to the factions that exists. Now I wonder, where would lady luck smile at? It for you to decide the favor.

Post Granado Espada Anniversary

Actually we came in late like around 15:00 at MOA SMX and I found it very odd because rarely I found GE posters around. But its fine with me because I see familiar faces to guide me through the vicinity. Anyway NineMoons was also having her small celebration at the event, thanks to Mena who bought a cake for her.

The event was nice and I have nothing more to say. Unfortunately, the local connection wasn't working that much so if I'm not mistaken the pvp tournament was cancelled due to this matter. It was really a good experience seeing old and new faces celebrating the said event.

Congratulations to the winners of the said event and specially to those who were recognized. Thanks to CM Aethrin and to team Granado Espada for making the event very nice. Hope there will be an involvement of Granado Espada on October well I think you know what I mean~ beer beer event!

When Worlds Collide

Okay this is early than I expected, it is confirmed that there will be a server merge amongst Cervantes, Carracci, Caravaggio, Pachelbel, and Vivaldi. So the pioneers are at panic and attacking related threads in the official forums relentlessly. And now I guess its my turn to point some issues that may arise in this upcoming server merge on October 7, 2008. But I quote the exact announcement from the official Granado Espada website so that you could know what is the content.

"World Migration Family and Faction Transfer Guide
IAHGames is taking cautious interest in making sure the world migration only creates the intended positive benefits.

That said, the process of bringing two or more worlds together does present some potential complications, all of which are detailed below. Please read the document carefully to answer any questions you may have about how your characters will be affected by the migration.

Situation 1: Overlapping Families on the Same Account
If, using the same account, you have created a family on more than one server of the same type (PK or non-PK), only one of your families will be migrated into the new world of that type.

For example: If, using the same account, a player has created a family called ‘Familyone’ on the non-PK server of Carracci, and another family also named ‘Familyone’ on the non-PK server of Pachelbel, only one of those families will exist in the new non-PK world of Rembrandt.

IAHGames internal systems will keep the family with the single highest level character, and the other family will be deleted.

Players holding families on different world types (example: 1 family on PK server, 1 family on non-PK server) will not see their characters affected.

Players are highly encouraged to delete their unused or unwanted families prior to the official migration on 7 October 2008, Tuesday to ease transition.

Situation 2: Overlapping Family Names on the Same Server Type
As family names must be unique to each account on each server, it is inevitable that some family names will overlap after the world migration is applied. In the case of an overlap (two different account holders sharing the same family name), the following will be imposed.

- The family with the single highest level character will retain their original family name.
- The family without the single highest level character will have their family name changed under the following format: ORIGINALNAME_ORIGINALSERVERNAME
o Example: A player has a lower level family named ‘Familyone’ from Carracci that overlaps after the migration. ‘Familyone’ will be automatically re-named ‘Familyone_carracci’ after the migration.
- Each account will be credited one free Family Name Change that can be used at the GE Royal Service on the Official Website.

Situation 3: Overlapping Faction Names
Faction names must also be unique on every server. If Faction names overlap after the migration, the overlap will be handled similarly to an overlapping family name.

- In the event of overlap, the highest level Faction will retain their original faction name.
- The other Faction affected by the overlap will have their Faction automatically renamed under the following format: ORIGINALNAME_ORIGINALSERVERNAME

To-Do List Before World Migration
With world migration just round the corner, here’s a to-do list for all pioneers to ensure a safe and stress-free migration!

10 Days Before World Migration…

1. Delete all unused families residing in the same account.
2. Mercenary and transfer characters to another account if you have more than one family on the same account and you wish to keep those characters
3. Transfer items to another account if you have more than one family on the same account and you wish to retain those items
4. Claim all items stored in Adelina’s Booty Chest on the Adelina Booty Search Website

1-3 Days Before World Migration…

1. Remove all items that are currently on sale and being stored by the Market Manager
2. Take care not to activate any premium items that are time-based. (Combat Manual, Lucifer’s Wing, Ancient Territory Pass etc.)
3. Claim all items being stored in Leonardo Expreso"

"Frequently Asked Questions

1. With the world migration, will there be server lag issues since there are more players in the server now?

Currently, our servers have only been utilizing between 6%-31% of its total capabilities. Lag can be a result of many issues, such as low spec graphic card or CPU, local ISP (Internet Service Provider) re-routing issues etc.

Furthermore, the new servers that we will be migrating to are far more powerful with its new hardware and system upgrades. We conservatively estimate that the utilization of the new servers after the world migration will not be likely to exceed 30% of its total capabilities.

2. What will become of Colony Wars after the World Migration where other powerful factions reside together in the new world?

Colony Wars will only become more challenging. Rivalries and competitions, all of which are vital elements in making each faction better. No longer would a single faction dominate the entire map allowing for a better balance of power and privileges. Factions will also have to stay on their toes and keep up with the others. All these would only mean a heightened energy level and tension within the GE world, making it so much more exciting to play.

3. Will there be a shortage of monsters and raids due to the additional families?

IMC has programmed Granado Espada such that monster spawn rates are directly dependent on the number of families in each map. The system detects the number of families in the map and automatically adjusts the monster spawn rates accordingly. The more families in the map = higher spawn rate.

One of the reasons why we have chosen to do the world migration just before the launch of V2.9 expansion is because the *new expansion for V2.9 has various instanced missions and raids. Instanced missions and raids mean that you will be able to participate in missions and raids that are exclusively to you and your party members, without the interference of external parties – this ensures that having additional families in the New World will not affect the outcome.

*In addition, 3 additional Super Fight maps (3 timings for each map), 3 Cooperative Missions, Secret Tower Raids, Reboldoeux Culverts Raids and new additional PvP maps like Royalist VS Republican Faction Fights which give additional EXP buffs as rewards will be coming out in V2.9 launch which is tentatively scheduled on 16 October 2008, Thursday.

4. What additional benefits are there for World Migration?

a) Improved World (Server) Monitoring
With fewer worlds (servers) to manage, this would free up more time and resources for Game Masters to physically log in and out to check on the different servers. They will also be able to work more closely with players who have provided them with information to perform periodically checks on parties using 3rd party software.

b) ~50% Shorter Maintenance Time
With fewer worlds (servers) to manage, maintenance time is estimated to be shorter by around 50% bar any major patches or ad-hoc events. We believe that this exercise would enable us to have a quicker response to feedback and a more efficient and focused service to our valued gamers.

c) Community Bonding
An online game revolves around its community. The larger the community, the more vibrant and diversified it becomes. This is our aim when we set off to conduct this world migration. We believe that it will do the community good in the long run.

d) Longer Duration & More Frequent In-Game Events
With more resources, we can conduct more fun-filled events and be assured of better attendance. In the past, we often have to conduct in-game events world-by-world. This often means that some worlds would have to wait for their turn. With fewer worlds, we can now hold events that are of longer durations and at a more extensive manner."

Now lets tackle the frequently asked question because at the end of the day the Admins should comfort us with their answers. Though I have some opinions and another question behind those statements.

1. About the server lag issues, I might totally agree on her statement because if your PC specs and ISP provider is an epic fail well I wish a very good luck to you. But I was imagining pioneers pass by you every other minute with Catherine the summoner, do you think you won't lag?

2. Now in the issue of game play for Colony Wars, this one is going to be pretty stiff. Because I understand the gaming gap between old servers and young servers. But still I consider meeting new alliances rather to oppose them. Because Granado Espada is politically motivated as I look into it.

3. In the issue of shortage of monsters and raids well I can see whats going to happend. Okay, they say the number of monsters spawn adjusts depending on the number of families in current map. But can't you see the afk families will be like every other coordinates! As you know guys grinding to expert status is no joke and I could say so! Now about the raids, don't tell me that there will be Raid Boss that adjusts to the number of families. Guys now we are talking of developing your family's equipment. Imagine you are already equipping 3 members of your family, or even more than, then you will have to wait like 12-24 hours for some major raids then get 1 good armor and a bunch of elite 84's! How exciting! Guys, the current situation in my server is worst. Imagine just to snag KOG an alliance should work to outwit a faction, then after the kill ~ no dragon heart (so uber rare find only people who say "no money no talk" gets it)! Now imagine 3 or more big factions merge into one server aiming the head of a simple Hellbreaker (timed raid boss more than 500mins only at channel 1 just to wait), all I can say is tata Hellbreaker you'll die in less than 10 seconds. Please admins more channels and implement worth instance raids.

4. I might agree on the benefits in terms of weekly server maintenance, community bonding, and longer duration of in-game events. Though for a year of playing the game, for crying out loud can't you see the broad of this 3rd Party sites! In addition check out Ustiur Zona Uno "the land of botters" too bad we can't even report them as botters.

In the brighter side of all this, I will just look after the server merge maybe we just prejudice the effect of this turn. But am thinking of the worst scenarios also because if we have individual servers of five but still we encounter problems, what more if we are sinked into two? I hope IAH will ease the pioneers and I hope they listen to them and think about a solution from what the pioneers post in the forums.

So for now pioneers lets think positive about this and plan of what you are going to do once server merge is executed.

There is something about Cathie

Okay I was mixed up if I'm going to get Idge the Battlesmith or Catherine STR build. The point is both of this RNPC can wield shield and placing them to advantage. Now here is my dilemma, Idge the Battlesmith has quite a good stat and looks cool though Catherine STR build has a decent STR that usually pawns and doesn't require G-Points. But in short I like them both because they are melee in class!

Well because I saw a cheap Cath's Pelvis at the market manager, I've decided to create my Catherine STR. By the way thanks to Reclusion who handed over his decoy account now I was able to create her *evil grin*.

And so at the end of the day I finally made her and named her as Orpah. Pretty neat huh? I don't know I'm starting to like this Catherine STR build from out of senseless reason. I hope she could reach expert too. So pioneers when picking RNPC's, make sure you are happy when creating and putting them into your barracks.

Yesterday and early this morning was one of the horrible day the pioneers got from Granado Espada because there are intermittent connection from the server itself. But alas to the IAH team and the tech team they manage to redeemed themselves from this horrible day and now servers are stable.

And in addittion, the admins are giving away 1 Ancient Territory Pass and 1 Forgotten Territory pass a sign of good will due to this server disconnection. For more info about the new you can VISIT THIS LINK.

And next update, it is confirmed that on the 27th of this month Granado Espada Philippines will be having this 1st year celebration at SM Mall of Asia, SMX convention center in partner with Globe Telecommunications. So pinoy players of Granado Espada please do come and support the event. Without your support, it'll be put down to waste.

Its been a year when I remember the days that we grind levels without combat manuals, ancient territories, or whatever premium items to augment power leveling. Now the days of premium has come, more accessible items, and new maps came in the pioneer's way. And in addition I am happy to see players who played the game so long and have been dedicated playing Granado Espada.

We thank the players who joined us in our small way of celebrating the 1st year of Granado Espada in the Philippines through fire works at City of Auch channel 1. Thanks again and more power to the Pinoy gamers of Granado Espada.

For now, the Philippine community is waiting for a real life gathering to celebrate its first year. We'll keep you posted pioneers if there are upcoming events.

Carracci's Gate Keeper is Down

At around 15:56-14:00 an act of Valor was announced throughout the server of Carracci when the Gate Keeper falls.

Indeed the faction leader Nostradamus, of Eminence Faction, put end on the rumored Gate Keeper and opened the new route to Tierra Putrafecta and Chaos Requiem. Congratulations to Eminence faction for a job well done.

Though I don't have the chance to see the downfall of Gate Keeper, I choose to move around the place that was hidden in the eyes of pioneers for quite a long time. The following images are taken after the downfall of Gate Keeper.

There is this warp portal inside the dungeon which puts another mystery on how to get further. But I suspect this is the room for a raid boss shown on Chaos Requiem expansion video. The one they call "The Snake"

The cave of Bahamas doesn't stop with KOG or King of Greed in the first floor. After the slay of King of Greed, a way-point will open leading to the 2nd floor of Bahamas Cave and there you'll meet the nemesis of the underground cave.

They way-point am referring to is located in D6 left portion of cave (cave route from marshland) and H7 right portion of cave (cave route from peril).

When you get inside the 2nd level of the cave proceed with caution and take down all the Uraeus' Egg. After destroying the Eggs go at the center of the map which is F7 and meet him.

Uraeus must be defeated 3 times with intervals. Because it will go like this; Kill Uraeus, Uraeus rest, Kill Eggs, Uraeus awakes and kill again, Uraeus rest, Kill Eggs, and so on til you kill him at the third time. And voila it is done for.

Hope you pioneers venture the underground cave and try to check him out. Maybe your squad or faction are lucky enough to take him down. So again good luck pioneers and enjoy another raid.

GE PH Communty welcomes CM Aethrin

I was really excited that again the blogger and representatives from the GE PH community will meet again before the anticipated 1st year anniversary. And the special thing about this meeting is all about him...

Yes and am talking about our new Community Manager Aethrin. He is also a former CM of another MMORPG and what I've heard the former community he handled remain intact leading them to good place in the game. One more good info about him, he is playing the game with Veteran families in Cervantes.

The talk with CM Aethrin along with the product managers was really productive and I'm sure they also learned many things from us especially certain issues that the PH community suffering from issues that arise; GVC, installers, promotion, and social interaction within in-game players. And most of all we talked about the upcoming 1st GE anniversary so I guess we'll keep you pioneers posted.

Its not just Novia

Indeed Novia is one of the popular icons in Granado Espada. But I think it'll be more better if we know other resident in this chilling plain of Ice Wizard Tower.

And yes meet another weird looking lizard in robe, his name is Elmorc. You can see him around the vast frozen plain and outskirts of Ice Wizard Tower. Remember this one is also hard to crack; decent defense, decent regeneration rate, and ice elemental damage that surely pioneers will say "ouch" in every AOE cast. It is adviced that you work as a squad if you doubt on your equips and it will be more handy if you have Elementalists using the lightning stances.

Pioneers enjoy meeting this guy and I hope you pawn 'em for experience. Or else Novia might tell you her powerful punch line...

Table Mountain in Granado Espada?

If you are just a pioneer who is satisfied of grinding, raids, colony wars, etc. Think again maybe your GE life is getting boring!

I was wondering around at Deprimida Valley when I passed through this amazing sight. And yup your eyes is not fooling you. Table Mountain of Capetown is here in Granado Espada. I really find it amusing seeing such scenery and I hope you guys were too.

Fish in the Desert?

Well this was the first time I've seen this though the pioneering memorial of Deprimida Valley has a mission about it.

And yes, you are not blind, a fish in the outskirts of Deprimida Valley and looks like the other one at Bahama Marshland. And to tell you pioneer this one is hard to crack. Imagine this map boss walks fast and cast a huge AOE of curse that will surely slow you down and it is annoying. Not to mention Dream Blade Antelope has they same tactic.

If you see this guy around make sure you have a handful of people so your damage is progressive because his regeneration rate was quite fast.
