The one they call "The Snake"

The cave of Bahamas doesn't stop with KOG or King of Greed in the first floor. After the slay of King of Greed, a way-point will open leading to the 2nd floor of Bahamas Cave and there you'll meet the nemesis of the underground cave.

capture_00233

They way-point am referring to is located in D6 left portion of cave (cave route from marshland) and H7 right portion of cave (cave route from peril).

When you get inside the 2nd level of the cave proceed with caution and take down all the Uraeus' Egg. After destroying the Eggs go at the center of the map which is F7 and meet him.

capture_00232

Uraeus must be defeated 3 times with intervals. Because it will go like this; Kill Uraeus, Uraeus rest, Kill Eggs, Uraeus awakes and kill again, Uraeus rest, Kill Eggs, and so on til you kill him at the third time. And voila it is done for.

Hope you pioneers venture the underground cave and try to check him out. Maybe your squad or faction are lucky enough to take him down. So again good luck pioneers and enjoy another raid.

Fish in the Desert?

Well this was the first time I've seen this though the pioneering memorial of Deprimida Valley has a mission about it.

capture_00204

And yes, you are not blind, a fish in the outskirts of Deprimida Valley and looks like the other one at Bahama Marshland. And to tell you pioneer this one is hard to crack. Imagine this map boss walks fast and cast a huge AOE of curse that will surely slow you down and it is annoying. Not to mention Dream Blade Antelope has they same tactic.

If you see this guy around make sure you have a handful of people so your damage is progressive because his regeneration rate was quite fast.

So again pioneers, I'll keep you posted. Tata~

Marshland Resident

For those who are fond of staying at the Bahama Marshland I think you should know whose the resident in this joint. Well if ever you are at AFK mode he might punish your family badly.

capture_00038

I introduce to you Swamp Merman Eater, actually the first time I had an encounter with him he reminds me of a fish that we call in the Philippines "Tilapia" or "St. Peter's Fish" which is my favorite fish to eat. But I don't like the feel of seeing him because he has Dino-leg and scaled long neck gives me the creeps of not eating my favorite fish. If you check on his stats he is quite a monster to take down with 57AR/DR. So if you are not an expert or not in a squad to take this down he'll make you cry.

Oh reminders pioneers we have this after maintenance:

21 August 2008: "Battlesmith Week"
Release of Veteran Stances:
Mighty Cruz [Combat Stance] Polearm
Low-Guard [Combat Stance] Sabre
Raid Assault [Combat Stance] Two handed dagger
Idge the Battlesmith' Idge the Battlesmith RNPC Card

For all the pioneers have a pleasant day and I hope you will like whats in store for you today. I think its time for me to play console games when Granado Espada is not up yet.

Confusion on Bahamas Quest

Currently I was on the progress of working on Bahamas Quest and there are some area that might get confusing. So somehow I will share some things that may give you some interest and maybe you might encounter.

capture_00177

The first one that hinders my quest was finding the tombstones all over Bahamas. It was easy for me to hunt down the tombstones because of Giliam's quest archives in the sGE official forums. Funny thing was, the tombstone in coordinates F5 Swamp of Eternity doesn't have any trigger. I don't know maybe its a bug or something, let the Admins check on this one.

The second one was Mystery Medicine quest which is part of Bahamas quest. After getting the Mysterious Water from an Elite Amber Bee at Swamp of Eternity. A trigger quest updates then into "You need 100 each of these: Pure Etretanium, Quartz, and Aidanium". Most of the players mistook the part "Quartz and Aidanium" they always think its Pure Quartz and Pure Aidanium. To pioneers please be noted that this refers to "Quartz" and "Aidanium" only which can be obtain in lower level maps.

I'll keep you guys posted on things around Granado Espada that most of the pioneers encounter. Again, have a pleasant day pioneer!

Bahama Map: My first step

After this week's maintenance, I only have one thing on my mind and that is exploring the region of Bahama. And there is no one who can stop me from exploring it except for the monsters so powerful they can own my family.

(Welcome to Bahama Camp where your exploration start)

So how do we get there? For the pioneers who are not well familiar on traveling around I will help you out on how to get there. You should start at Port of Coimbra then make sure you have a ticket that permits you to go at Ustiur Base Camp. Once you get to Ustiur Base Camp, there are series of zones; Zona Uno - Zona Quatro. So as a family to reach Bahama, you should finish the quests incorporated in accessing different zones. Because the last zone which is Zona Quatro lies the entrance to Bahama Camp. Bahama Camp's entrance at Zona Quatro is at coordinates D5. Once you get there, voila enjoy sightseeing through the swamps.

After I had a pose at the Bahama Camp, now I move to the marshland were the residents are quite different in there appearance but fortunately my family can handle them. There are areas on the marsh which are random because there are coordinates that teleports you to another location of the marsh. I've also tried the pioneering memorial in the area, and after killing 150 crabs in this region, it gave me a level 9 pioneering seal and an experience card which gives hundred decimal in your experience without a manual.

capture_00013

(I don't want to imagine how it feels to be soaked in this marsh)

capture_00014

(A weird man with chest on its head and a crab without pincer)

The I tried some other areas in the map like the first level cave of Bahama but the creatures there aren't that easy to kill because most of them possess the AR (Attack Rating)/DR (Defense Rating) of 57 which is really hard to handle. So IAH was really serious about the families who want to explore the other regions must at least reach the Expert Status.

capture_00015

(The cave's hall was really nice to look at but the mobs in there~ I don't think so)

My visit in the Bahama Region was nice after all. Though there are information saying that quests are involve to get new series of weapon and armor. Hope you guys work on your characters to Expert status to enjoy the map itself and the equipments that are in store for you.
