When the wasps starts biting

After a month of being inactive and resolving issues about in-game now I've returned to update this blog and continue what I have started.

First and foremost I will take this opportunity to defend myself along with the people who stood for me. I know I shouldn't be doing this, but a breather was needed in my case and I should list down things further on.

Issues:

1. Players prejudiced me because I stopped updating my blog because I don't get something in return.

ans. I start blogging this wonderful game without expecting of getting anything. Popularity is not what I ask for, I expect readers and new players to be educated in my own special way by sharing my experiences whether it is in-game or community real life gatherings. As simple as that. Whats the use of titles given to me if ever- thus I cannot perform well.

2. Former Takhisis members accuses me with the issue of stealing the faction vault etc. then because of this I move to a known faction in my server.

ans. Before this people accused me of stealing, the core members has initiated the idea of gathering necessary items to fortify its core as suggested. It was approved and accompanied by YOU HAVE TO WORK ON IT so that you can get items from the faction. The accusation arise when hacking cases starts to smother Takhisis Faction, some players tag it as a hacking faction. It hurts me a lot because of such accusation but I ignored it due to the fact that these players has no evidence in the first place. But in a personal note - items are earned through hard work and not making gossips just to justify your qualification as legitimate owner of such items. Currently, the items are with the remaining Takhisis members and they are all managing it without my supervision.

3. They say I've become inactive due to conflicts within the community of gamers.

ans. I deny the statement that I become inactive due to conflict. If there is any, it should deal personally and not in-game. One of the most difficult thing about this part is when people tend to hear things and never bother asking me - just in case you are civilized enough to ask me. During a month of being inactive, I took the advantage of dealing with my personal life and I know everybody does if they have the opportunity. So to break your curiosity I've done several volunteer works for an institution and teaching kids for theatrical plays which kept me busy. And I have to admit I love this part of my life. That is why the state in number 3 is simply false.


For those players who doesn't believe me its all up to you. But I really thanked those players who still believed in me and sending messages in my YM handler because it kept me well spirited as ever. For now my aim is to continue what I have started in regardless of the issues thrown to me. But I don't take it personally because at the end of the day I'm just your ordinary blogger and its just a game.

System Breached?

On every MMORPG the word hack or being hacked is widely used and It sinks to this idea when a certain account was used by someone and the in-game items are lost then speculation arise the transfer said items to another account. Most common incidents are; when a Key Logger was installed in a PC, Spyware are installed, a person peeked on a player while entering their user name and password, and so on with the same manner. Worst case scenarios like deletion of character may result after the hack was successfully executed. And for the victim, he/she will become more frustrated because of the time and money spent.

Recently some member of our faction logged her decoy account because the santossuarez account suddenly has a different password after several minutes. So it leads to logging her decoy account and informed me about the situation but during that time we don't think it that way.

Next was the Shadowstein account. Two weeks ago during the morning around 10:00 AM, his account suddenly logged out then they thought it was just a simple server disconnection. But I sent a message in his YM that why he disconnected in the middle of farming. Then he logged back, there he found a different set of characters. He started to pick the main characters which are two Musketeers and a Bernelli. Then he found out the equipments were all missing. So he decided to return the loaned items to us and changed his account password because of the suspected hack in his account. We all thought it was over but still we are worried about this. In the afternoon around 2:00 PM his account logged out again, his younger brother didn't notice it and after several minutes when he came back he tried to log it in again and the password already changed along with its GE passport in the official site. The fellow faction members was also surprised because they told me the Shadowstein account left the faction. In the end, the owner of the account sent a ticket to IAH but til now there is no progress about the incident. For now he is worried about the retrieval of the account because it might cost him some money which he cannot afford.

After the Shadowstein incident his brother with in-game name †Royals† suffer the same fate but this time the hacker only chooses the costumes and some elites that the faction spared to him. Then the brothers consulted me about the incident through the messenger but I've told them to write IAH for report ticket so they could do action to this matter.

Then a day after the †Royals† hack incident, their dummy account AlexanDerson suffer the same fate though it is far grim because the hacker left a message through his barracks and it read from left to right barracks under the level 1 fighter characters "YOU joatic BEEN QUITGENOW HACKED AGAIN".

Okay it may sound really tough for the four accounts mentioned above but here are the points I want to stress before this incidents happened which directly came from their testimonials. [1] These players play only in their own houses. [2] The common amongst the players are they received an empty e-mail regarding Granado Espada.

In this article, its a clear that the hacker track all the necessary information to the extent of changing the password and all in the GE passport site. Then the interesting part about this hacker is that he knows what to pick on player's account. In my personal opinion the victims for now are not much of a player in game and I see that the hacker is doing some experiments so if he/she performs it to hard core player accounts things will be more easier.

To all the pioneers and IAH people who might read this. You might have different opinions about the series of incident mentioned above the paragraph. But there is one sure thing about this - the matter is serious! They all sent a ticket to IAH but still there is no progress about the incident. We also suggest them to do some reformatting on their PC to clean up nasty program if there such exist. Personally I hope that they could resolve this matter but the victims are worried because it means $$$ for retrieving if we heard it right. And these guys don't have the $$$ to get it back just in case a tiny light will lit for their account's hope. For now my fellow Filipino player inside the faction speculates the empty email, with enclosed Granado Espada as title, sent to these players somehow used as portal to hack their PC at home were they respectively play. May this article serve as warning to our fellow pioneers who plays the game to be more extra careful! I got high hopes that IAH will help the four accounts mentioned above and others cases that is not written here. Til again I'll keep you posted pioneers!

I can't believe it's Christmas again and hey reality check am still playing the game. Talking about in-game, most of our faction members from Singapore have their Christmas party and most of us here in the Philippines we've decided to have a post-Christmas party here at my LAN shop on the 28th. Well I hope our plan of a post-Christmas party will work.

In terms of wishes, I do have my own and I made a simple Christmas card with some images in-game of my characters and real life GE gatherings as my entry for naughty and nice. So whats with the idea? Well simple, many of the pioneers of the new found world focus in-game and was never proud to show the community that they exist through real life gatherings. My wishes White Cristatus, 70k G-Points, and Item of the month ~ I hope they will be granted this year.

I hope everyone in the new found world will have a merry Christmas with their families and do enjoy this special day. Til' again I'll keep you posted pioneers!

After Manny Pacquiao's victory against Oscar de la Hoya, I felt glad because he emerge champion after this dream fight. Well my imagination flies when even in Granado Espada, a distinguished RNPC Jean Pierre Gascon reminds me of his relevant stance as a professional boxer. You might say I imagining too hard but as you can see most of the martial artists in Granado Espada are almost relevant to the fighting styles of a real sport. Now tell me pioneers of the new found world, does any on-line game that can match the complexity of this game? For now try to find out if any.

Real Life Event: GE PH outing

Yesterday I was sluggish but it turns out to be good and I admit it was a surprise for me. The outing yesterday was suppose to be a Bloggers meeting but RCM Hrin suggests that to put it in the official web site and declare it as a GE PH community outing. And in the other hand CM Aethrin supported us by sending out goodies for the pioneers who will attend.

We've talked about a lot of things like organizing GE Cosplayers, concerns about in-game, suggestion to strengthen the community, the much awaited version 3.0, and many more. Each conversation was meaningful because this is the first time that from two worlds, Bach and Rembrandt, these guys shares everything under the sun specially the laughs behind their respective servers.

We ended the day with a dinner and some walk around the mall. Everything was great and I can't ask for anything more. Well we are expecting more gatherings like this and I hope it will continue.

Network Blitz

Yesterday and early this morning was one of the horrible day the pioneers got from Granado Espada because there are intermittent connection from the server itself. But alas to the IAH team and the tech team they manage to redeemed themselves from this horrible day and now servers are stable.

And in addittion, the admins are giving away 1 Ancient Territory Pass and 1 Forgotten Territory pass a sign of good will due to this server disconnection. For more info about the new you can VISIT THIS LINK.

And next update, it is confirmed that on the 27th of this month Granado Espada Philippines will be having this 1st year celebration at SM Mall of Asia, SMX convention center in partner with Globe Telecommunications. So pinoy players of Granado Espada please do come and support the event. Without your support, it'll be put down to waste.

GE PH Communty welcomes CM Aethrin

I was really excited that again the blogger and representatives from the GE PH community will meet again before the anticipated 1st year anniversary. And the special thing about this meeting is all about him...

Yes and am talking about our new Community Manager Aethrin. He is also a former CM of another MMORPG and what I've heard the former community he handled remain intact leading them to good place in the game. One more good info about him, he is playing the game with Veteran families in Cervantes.

The talk with CM Aethrin along with the product managers was really productive and I'm sure they also learned many things from us especially certain issues that the PH community suffering from issues that arise; GVC, installers, promotion, and social interaction within in-game players. And most of all we talked about the upcoming 1st GE anniversary so I guess we'll keep you pioneers posted.

Dead, but alive!

Lately I was having a rough time of updating my blog due to some difficulties. And the simple reason was, I just disconnected my internet service because I have to upgrade it for business purposes. Yeah it might ring a bell of what it will mean but I'm sure am not quitting to spread the news and infos about this game. Apparently, yours trully is still active logging the game and happy of my personal life. So to all readers just hang on there but don't be left behind.

Granado Espada + Real Life = OWNED!

Lately I was kinda busy dealing with my personal life though I've managed to attain veteran status to one of my characters `Kurt Lyndon. Thanks to Nate of Reclusion by helping out. It was really amusing being busy doing your field and enjoy playing Granado Espada.

I attended a week of training at the Philippine Red Cross in Quezon City chapter. At first I was hesitant to try it because I have no one with to attend the training. But it turns out to be a blessing and fulfilling week for me.

And that is what I called doing your real life while playing your favorite game. Well for today I have to take rest because its tiring.

Off Game: The Get away!

Who told you that all we do is only grinding levels and doing quests in Granado Espada? Of course we have means of relaxing and releasing our self from the virtual world.The brothers Reclusion and Behringer stayed here in our humble abode for a couple of days. We really enjoyed each others company because rarely we do this.

So Artaxerxes and I decided to bring the brothers somewhere in our area to taste the countryside in our region's style. When we made it there, Reclusion and Behringer were really impressed about the scenery and not to mention they can't stand the cold breeze coming from the hills.

GE Bloggers: For the 2nd Time

The second bloggers meeting was really nice and now we grow in attendance. This time our meeting was at Trinoma Mall at North Avenue were the POGS event was held.

The meeting was great because all of the attendees manage to share their opinions about the game and how to strengthen the community. And we also discuss about optimizations on their blog especially to those who are about to start one.

Post Outcasts Faction EB

Delays really killed me so much especially when the internet service is down followed by my thesis and hospital duties. Oh well, that is how we level grind our real lives. Without further ado this posts Outcasts Faction EB in celebration of Haagendaz's birthday.

I arrived at around 17:00 and alas am late! I have personal reasons why I'm late but the catch is when once you enter Haagendaz's lair there are lots of Outcasts member around. CM Veya was there in action along with the council of Outcasts laughing their hearts out when DMB slams them with random jokes. And not to mention DeSanggria arrived around half-past 18:00, the Outcasts members forced her to eat the whole coconut pie.

Aside from having a pile of coconut pie is on the house with lots of food to eat, we have a hell of a time and I was really impressed because of them were from distant places. Imagine some of them travel for almost 3 hours the least just to reach our area. And I hope to see them around and more power to Outcasts Faction of Carracci.

Post Philippine On-line Game Summit (POGS)

The Philippine On-line Game Summit was held at Trinoma Mall located at North Edsa. Basically it was a huge display of different on-line game companies and at the same time introducing lots of their on-line game titles. Well Granado Espada won't be left behind.

Around 00:25 I've made it to Trinoma and guess what the Reclusion brothers was there waiting for me at the train station. Then we head on to the registration area and bought some GAME magazine to serve as our entrance.

We walked inside the activity center and looked for the Granado Espada booth. And there I saw familiar faces like Ninemoons, DeSanggria, and of course CM Veya with the IP E-Games gang. We registered for the PVP tournament and then we loiter around the venue. All I can say that it was really great having lots of on-line games around you.

I tried visiting my account and feed my Catherine the summoner for some experience. Fortunately she gained a level after half an hour.

That's not all; our Fantazzztic Film Awards entry was shown at the big screen in front of many players and visitors. We were proud because it shows other things you can do with Granado Espada aside from playing it as a game.

The crowd goes wild as the showdown of Cosplayers takes on stage. Not to mention some good Cosplayers specially the female contestants.

Around 16:15 the PVP tournament started, Mena and I were the first one called and oh yeah Adeptas Fraternas Team of Caravaggio pawned us. At least we have the opportunity to have a duel with them.

The P.O.G.S. was indeed successful and all. So the bloggers have a little tea party, some chats, and move back to our humble abode. Thank you to all Granado Espada players who supported the event along with other on-line gamers.

GE Bloggers: the Gathering

Oh no!

I woke up around half-past 12 at noon and our meeting is 13:00! This is why I really hate drinking! I was really rushing through train stations and it really freaks me out because this is the first GE bloggers meeting and I'm late.

Anyway, this is the first time am going to meet some of them in person like Mena, Darrick, and Nate (Reclusion brothers). But there are familiar faces to me here like Ninemoons, DeSanggria, and Welling who was there to tease me of being late.

We talk about interesting facts like current situation in servers we play on, opinions about colony wars, upcoming patch "Witches of Bahamar/Balanar", baron RNPC, boosting up our blog sites, server rumors amongst players, and most of all more of highly infecting joke about Grandice's widely spread oiled body costume.

I was really happy talking with them but too sad for me I was late for an hour hence everything was great. Not to mention the tips I've heard from them especially confirmation about technical damages and raid bosses were urban legend spread about certain noted equipment and tactics.

Hope to have another GE bloggers meeting and best of all I look forward of increase on the attendee. And lastly I was really honored that most of them were blog-spotted which we are humbled because the Granado Espada community supported our blog sites.

Granado Espada: Losing the one-sided battle

Here in the Philippines, computer shop, computer café, computer centers, internet café, and alike were the places Filipino players spent most of their time playing online games. A Filipino player pays USD 0.35 or Php 15 per hour and sometimes they play more than that. Like me for example, I play for 12 hours so roughly I would pay for USD 4.20. But most of the rental shops here have a special discount cutting it to USD 3.50 so you are just paying for 10 hours instead of the full 12 hours of the rent.

Next is for the online game companies. One of their strategies of advertising is giving these computer rental owners some game poster and free installation of a certain game to be introduced. Or if the company is generous enough, they could offer a free to play test on that specific shop so that players that visits the shop will have the opportunity to test the new game for themselves.

What is a healthy competition? Based on most books, healthy competition is defined as a certain business in the economic environment is flourishing in manner which competing companies play the game by rules. But it becomes unhealthy when the company puts pressure against the other by using tactics that are off the economic rule.

Now by looking at some images below, use the FAQ above mentioned and inspect through it carefully. And it's for you to decide and start organizing your ideas by yourself.

 

Rumors:
· There are rumors that somewhere in the Philippines the propaganda was to remove Granado Espada related posters.
· Another rumor is there are rental shops that were encouraged to remove the Granado Espada program from their PC stations so that the game will not be further introduced.
· Next rumor is there are group of people who promised merchandise in return of their favor to wipe out Granado Espada at their shops.

Opinion:
Personally, looking through these pictures and listening to the statements from the Granado Espada players on that region disappoints me a lot. If this is so true, hope that a solution must be made to this unhealthy act. I am not against the game that was introduced by the images thus the people behind this act. But thanks to those loyal players of Granado Espada, who bravely reveal this terrible truth to the community. And I write this article for the love of the game, the new world of Granado Espada.
