E-Games Domination 3: Short Time, Big Time!

In the dry afternoon of April 4, the small band of players from Takhisis Faction took the road to E-Games Domination III and we arrived with high expectation. And our expectations are met! Lets see why I said so.

In our arrival at the venue, we are surprised because the players who attend the event was more massive than last year. The line of people that leads to the entrance was long so they need to separate it to three lines and occupy a lot of space to accommodate more incoming people. Then after an hour we finally made it inside and the lights inside the hall made our tired body loosen up a bit. Then we approached the Granado Espada booth, familiar faces with new players embraced my sight and the feeling was good.

After a while I finally met the champion who secure his video for Pattaya and its non other than a fellow Filipino pioneer - exebolt! We manage to talk for some time, too bad I came late for the event so my time is too short for a talk.

Then one of the cool things to do in this event is taking pictures around with the Cosplayers who gives spice to the ambiance of the event. We are crazy enough to loiter around and take photos and that made our stay worthwhile.

After chasing around people and visiting various gaming booth, our stay was payed off when our faction was awarded through faction banner for second place. The first winner are from the faction of Pinoy All Stars of Rembrandt server. Thanks for the Cosplayer who cosplayed Chuckie the Granado Espada stage brightened up when he went up there and start entertaining us.


The Granado Espada activity was over and our small band decided to go outside and eat then off we go to our humble abode. But it was amazing to meet another old friend and mother to us during the first year of Granado Espada for the Philippine community.

It was our former Community Manager Veya! Currently she is working with another MMORPG handled by E-Games. I really miss those day that she manage to visit various area within the metro just to attend faction eye ball for Granado Espada. And I know she still do it in a more casual way by treating them as friends. To our former CM Veya thanks a lot!


I would like to take opportunity to thank the people behind this wonderful event. From the community managers, game masters, sponsors, cosplayers, and players who gave their time to make the event successful through participation. I hope next year more activities will be provided to numerous attendees and more players will be encouraged to join this great annual event of E-Games. To all the pioneers of the new found world, I congratulate you for showing your support to the Philippine community. Til again I'll keep you posted pioneers!

How was everything?

(Takhisis Faction 1 year anniversary as a social faction)

Looking back at May 6, 2008 article entry from my previous faction blog site I began to miss the good old days. The days that we are plainly happy that if we got a colony, its a big accomplishment to us as a faction. But now, i saw my fellow Filipino pioneers who are players and friends in real life fell like dried leaves. By the beard of Lyndon! They are quitting progressively in numbers!


Now these are the things I've realized:
1. As a Filipino player of Granado Espada, it's really hard to compete economic-wise. Why? G-Points at Singapore were sold cheaper and Filipino players must spend twice the price on everything. In short Singapore players have full access on everything. So its really considered are Singapore server and not quoted as Southeast Asia server anymore. So personally I accept that fact.

2. The AR/DR system gives great gap on everything. In short, again spend more so you will augment your equipments along with your characters to keep up.

3. I am happier with a faction that has good people inside rather than being put into the pedastal as a faction but the consequences were worst. And besides inside a big faction is just killing the curiousity of having seeing and getting better equipments but in the end all of these will be good as digital dust.


There will be sudden turn in my personal gaming, I rather to choose to have my gaming life back. I'll keep you posted pioneers.

Novia vs Fiksdotter

After a while of doing the long quests just to acquire Gavin for my family, at last I got him. So this is how I do it.

Here is the process on how Novia was pawned in my case. Fighter moves some steps forward till +5AR/DR buff (Will of the Veteran) activates at the same time let my Wizard and Elementalist move as far as they can before the mission starts. After the conversation, Fighter buffed with +5AR/DR will provoke the three guards along Montoro. Then move to a safe place that Novia can't damage you with her AOE (Area of Effect) and attention span will not trigger against your team. If so, activate Misc Consumables as quickly as possible, in this scenario electric charge buff and magic barrier was cast and then I do the damage on the provoked with lightning skill. Repeat the process of casting lightning to the provoked until they die and Novia was the one left. Remember when facing Novia, make sure you are on foot at 5AR/DR buff or else she might smite you effortlessly. Do the same thing, provoke Novia and cast lightning. Remember maintain buff, provoke, lightning skill, and spam heal type potion. And a piece of advice, among the five only Monotoro can detect invisible units so use invisible potion only when situation asks for it.

Well if you think that it is impossible for you to finish this quest. The safest way to do this is when you reach the expert level to avoid misuse of premium consumables.

Today am happy because this is yet another accomplishment for my family and at least I am one of the people who can prove Veteran Families can finish this quest. Thank you to all who greeted me on my [insert age here] birthday especially to my faction mates and other Granado Espada players. I really don't know what to say but thanks to you guys for being there including the readers of this blog of mine. Don't worry mini party session will be on schedule but I don't know when.

Two Factions Celebrates 1 year!

As a faction leader, I was really happy that Takhisis Faction which I founded is now at it's 1st year! I was honored with the members who stayed in this faction though there are tasty offers from the bigger ones. The members proposed for a simple screen shot with Simon Ayande and I guess it was nice enough to celebrate Takhisis' 1 year as a faction of Carracci. But we are looking forward of organizing an Eye-Ball this month in relation with the celebration.

But the wasn't like any other day because Destiny Faction is also celebrating their 1st year as a faction. Most of their members move at Auch City channel one to display their unity and celebrate this wonderful day. Thanks to one of the officers of Destiny Faction for inviting me to celebrate with them by using fireworks at the city.

Yet again great and small, the celebration for one year on these factions was one of the happiest day that they stood still as one. Hope both factions will endure as long the game exist. Congratulations again Takhisis Faction and Destiny Faction for making it this far!

Quality time with Takhisis

It was really true that a combination of the premium items' expert combat manual and forgotten territory pass makes your leveling a cool breeze. But the consequence is quite tough like in my case this would be my first three veteran so the vis is really tight for me because I have to catch up with my equipment. Fast leveling but way behind equips.

 

After 4 hours of playing I've decided to have fun with my members because every time we logged in all we have in mind is grinding. So I call their attention and do some mission ranging from interchange (level 1 & 2) and trinity level 3. It was really fun because we somehow practice our tactics how to finish things specially trinity 3. In our case most of the members were mid levels 55-70 so trinity 3 is still pretty tough. So we do some simple tactic for beginners like our faction. I tank because my family is a melee type and the nukers like Elementalist and Wizard goes at my back to prevent ample damages from Victors and Givars. And thanks to Southernsky for the motivation.

The two hours of quality time with my members was really fun for me. At least in the near future if we face the faction giants in our server this is going to be our weapon against them.

Great Hill Giant: Random Acts of Kindness

I log in around 7 O'clock in the evening and excited at the same time because we are planning to proceed with the faction quest defeating the Great Hill Giant.

But before this day, we already send messages to other able faction members in Takhisis and most of them responded. I also chatted with some friends on my list but none of them responded.

We have a several family in our squad and I was thinking asking for help won't hurt at all. So I've decided to send a broad message asking for help to knock down the Great Hill Giant. And just a few minutes there are also response on the floating texts and personal messages begins to pop out of the screen. And all them says only one thing, they wanted to help without asking for anything in return.

All of us meet at City of Auch channel 3 near the PvP officer. Then we invite the families who want to participate in the squad to have a good communication during the quest.

We move to the region of Vegas Javier, this is where I will summon the Great Hill Giant at coordinates E5.

Then we reached the area and we gathered around in the huge rock at coordinates E5. The squad says we pose for a while because we have to buff our team then after I move around the huge boulder and a notice appears the Great Hill Giant appears.

It took us almost 20 minutes to take down the Great Hill Giant. After the defeat I thought it was it. But Stiles Family says "Fiks where are you?" then I replied then he trade something. Then I realize it was the Great Hill Giant's evidence of destroying him. They still wanted to proceed to the next quest but I told them that we'd do it some other time.

All in all, it was a happy experience for my faction along the people who help us out on this one. Each of them sets aside their differences only for the aim of helping our faction. Thanks and see you around.

Takhisis Faction Forums

I strongly believe that a faction deserves a forum site
for communication purposes and other information in
relation with the game Granado Espada.

 

I've created a faction in Carracci server and I named
it as Takhisis. I don't have any problems of thinking
about the name because I read lots of fantasy inspired
novel books. We have a starting member of 7 pioneers
including myself. Then after a few days we've decided
to put up a forum site for the faction.

 

I know its really hard to push members to log in at the
forums but we have to. This is the only way to inform
them and I know it'll be a great help later when we
manage to recruit enough members for the faction.

the forums' banner.
