GM Event: Nov 29th

Yesterday's event was somehow expected due to same set up though am expecting development inside the GM's Lair. RCM Hrin and GM Heaven appeared at the City of Auch channel 1 around 15:30 with a notice to give hint that they will be having an event today.

After 10-15 mins, they summon the event gate, but before hand the pioneers were told that if there are known bugs, feedback are entertained for the improvement of the said event zone.

The red error boxes are still there along with the huge void room but as usual the method of killing bosses like Lava leaf, Novia, etc. are still the same. Then after killing some event boss, wisps will appear so the pioneers will get loot from it.

At the end of the event GM Heaven informed the pioneers that in their miscellaneous tab there is an event ticket wherein you could exchange for rewards. And by having one you are permitted to click huge treasure chest and get your reward. Base on what I got along with others, three pieces of level 100 enhancement chip was given to each ticket surrendered to the huge treasure chest. Unfortunately there are some pioneers who abuse it. How? My friend told me you just reconnect back to Auch then enter the Event Zone portal. So if you could do it many times, you can be rewarded more than the reward of three level 100 chips.

Personally GM Heaven was nice this time because he bothers to say good-bye before he left the event. Thanks also to RCM Hrin by showing up at the event. But I hope next time, GM's should chat ban those irresponsible and arrogant pioneers who insults and use profanity inside the event.

I know the pioneers are looking forward of seeing improve events in the future. So pioneers again I'll keep you posted.

GM Event: Pet Day

Pet on the block!

Novia summoned and ready to rumble

Today I made it through the Pet Day event, the GM was found at Jezebel Glen. Then after a while the GM summon us to event room. There we fought Novia, Vergo, (2x) Lava Leaf, and (2x) Griffon. Every time they die, wisps will appear and there you get loots. Unfortunately, the most decent loot was an Elite 84 Robe with 3DR option. And the sad part was the GM left without saying even a simple good bye. Anyway the idea for this kind of event was nice and further improvement will be expected by the pioneers of the new found world. So again, I'll keep you posted.

It takes two to Tango

Every noon of 12:00 pm the Secret Temple, Poison Yard, and Battle Coliseum opens during this time and it means PK Raid is available for every pioneers of Granado Espada.

Well this PK Raid was quite unusual because when I've entered the Poison Yard I was alone but good thing Jenheart was there for a fair share of raid. Well for further info she was one of the featured girl gamer stated on this article.

I was so impressed because we managed to take down Chimera in 13 minutes and I am thankful there were no other pioneers inside the dreaded PK Raid.

Carracci's Gate Keeper is Down

At around 15:56-14:00 an act of Valor was announced throughout the server of Carracci when the Gate Keeper falls.

Indeed the faction leader Nostradamus, of Eminence Faction, put end on the rumored Gate Keeper and opened the new route to Tierra Putrafecta and Chaos Requiem. Congratulations to Eminence faction for a job well done.

Though I don't have the chance to see the downfall of Gate Keeper, I choose to move around the place that was hidden in the eyes of pioneers for quite a long time. The following images are taken after the downfall of Gate Keeper.

There is this warp portal inside the dungeon which puts another mystery on how to get further. But I suspect this is the room for a raid boss shown on Chaos Requiem expansion video. Hope you pioneers out there try to visit it. Again congratulations to Eminence Faction for putting Carracci as the second server who opened Chaos Requiem.

The one they call "The Snake"

The cave of Bahamas doesn't stop with KOG or King of Greed in the first floor. After the slay of King of Greed, a way-point will open leading to the 2nd floor of Bahamas Cave and there you'll meet the nemesis of the underground cave.

They way-point am referring to is located in D6 left portion of cave (cave route from marshland) and H7 right portion of cave (cave route from peril).

When you get inside the 2nd level of the cave proceed with caution and take down all the Uraeus' Egg. After destroying the Eggs go at the center of the map which is F7 and meet him.

Uraeus must be defeated 3 times with intervals. Because it will go like this; Kill Uraeus, Uraeus rest, Kill Eggs, Uraeus awakes and kill again, Uraeus rest, Kill Eggs, and so on til you kill him at the third time. And voila it is done for.

Hope you pioneers venture the underground cave and try to check him out. Maybe your squad or faction are lucky enough to take him down. So again good luck pioneers and enjoy another raid.

Its not just Novia

Indeed Novia is one of the popular icons in Granado Espada. But I think it'll be more better if we know other resident in this chilling plain of Ice Wizard Tower.

And yes meet another weird looking lizard in robe, his name is Elmorc. You can see him around the vast frozen plain and outskirts of Ice Wizard Tower. Remember this one is also hard to crack; decent defense, decent regeneration rate, and ice elemental damage that surely pioneers will say "ouch" in every AOE cast. It is adviced that you work as a squad if you doubt on your equips and it will be more handy if you have Elementalists using the lightning stances.

Pioneers enjoy meeting this guy and I hope you pawn 'em for experience. Or else Novia might tell you her powerful punch line...

Fish in the Desert?

Well this was the first time I've seen this though the pioneering memorial of Deprimida Valley has a mission about it.

And yes, you are not blind, a fish in the outskirts of Deprimida Valley and looks like the other one at Bahama Marshland. And to tell you pioneer this one is hard to crack. Imagine this map boss walks fast and cast a huge AOE of curse that will surely slow you down and it is annoying. Not to mention Dream Blade Antelope has they same tactic.

If you see this guy around make sure you have a handful of people so your damage is progressive because his regeneration rate was quite fast.

Marshland Resident

For those who are fond of staying at the Bahama Marshland I think you should know whose the resident in this joint. Well if ever you are at AFK mode he might punish your family badly.

I introduce to you Swamp Merman Eater, actually the first time I had an encounter with him he reminds me of a fish that we call in the Philippines "Tilapia" or "St. Peter's Fish" which is my favorite fish to eat. But I don't like the feel of seeing him because he has Dino-leg and scaled long neck gives me the creeps of not eating my favorite fish. If you check on his stats he is quite a monster to take down with 57AR/DR. So if you are not an expert or not in a squad to take this down he'll make you cry.

King of Greed

Ever wonder yourself under the murky caves of Bahamas? Maybe you should try claiming the head of the one who is greedy ~hiding under Bahamas.

Early this morning, one of our faction mate rally us to the caves of Bahamas to meet the King of Greed also quoted as "KOG" by most raiders. So how to meet him up? Go to the underground cave of Bahamas 1st Floor then move to coordinates located between C5 and D5 and meet your exclusive date with him in the cave.

A good number of families that can dish continuous damage can do the trick. Well because you might expect other raiders to pawn King of Greed's head. Then after defeating him the underground cave level 2 will open. So enjoy seeing him pioneers.

The Guardian to Tierra Putrefacta

Today, two of my fellow faction members ventures to Bahama Grotto and I was with them to check whats inside the infamous Grotto. So how to get there? Try to move at Underground Cave Level 1 and move to coordinates C8 only available at Channel one.

It was said that to enable access to Tierra Putrefacta, a group of pioneers should defeat the guardian named Giant Keeper. Well he is not an ordinary giant like in quests for attaining level 51 faction and Viki's summon though he is a real pain to most pioneers.

It was rumored that when it was defeated it will permanently disappear and the current server will gain access to the map of Tierra Putrefacta. Now it came to my senses why the Requiem expansion has a quote "As Darkness Falls, True Heroes Emerge". So do you think a server wide raid can defeat Giant Keeper at this early point? Well it depends on you pioneer.

Unusual Day

Too bad for today, our ISP provider made my gaming experience miserable. Anyway, I will try to venture the rumored "Tierra Putrefacta" once my connection become stable. Then I will give you guys some information and current state if this map can be explored by pioneers or rumors of taking down the guardian with joined server effort.

Arena of the Ancients

Yesterday our faction proceed to Arena of the Ancients also named as "El Antiguo Patrimonio" to explore and observe on how things go. And because it is my first time to explore this instance, I will share to you guys my experience.

First, because we are aligned to the republicans, we moved to the republican faction member located at Thueringen Lakeside in coordinates D6. Then a portal will be open once the notice announced that the portal is opened.

Then when we went inside the huge arena. After some minutes we encountered the Ancient Gerelo which gives the raiders some time to take down. After defeating Ancient Gerelo, a portal was opened to the middle, and our next adversary was summoned - Ancient Diablo! This time he does more punishment and he not an ordinary Diablo because his AOE (Area of Effect) has more range than the regular. After the raiders took down Ancient Diablo, decent number of level 100 chips was scattered on the floor. Luckily one of our faction mate got his share.

After the raiders defeated Ancient Diablo, another portal was opened that took us to two platforms. Unfortunately we seem to be stuck and the next anticipated boss does not show up. I don't if its a bug that Ancient Hell Breaker didn't shown up but this arena is really unique.

Gate of Fire: My Exploration

There are unusual places in Granado Espada thus pioneers don't have any idea whats in store for them. So I will share some thing about my experience in the Gate of Fire.

The gate of fire is located in the dry lands of Topolo Durga which is situated beside Tetra Hill. The monsters within the pool of fire has high resistance from fire damage thus they have less resistance from ice damage so it is advisable that squads must bring Elementalists with them or any other characters that may decrease elemental damage from the pool. There are necessary strategy on how to manage the mobs and it depends on the strategist of a faction. Proper equipment is also required to engage in this raid instance and make sure you reach at least 57 DR (defense rate) and above to absorb punishment.

Now the faction must have at least more than a squad to summon Lava Leaf by activating pillars. And then do your best to slay the summoned boss. A good strategy is the key to finish this quest and you might get rewarded by an array of Fire Series suitable for the next instance mission - the Gate of Lightning.

My random appreciation

For as many months pass by in my life in Granado Espada, I felt so accomplished somehow as a player and faction leader for Takhisis Faction.

The first thing is to appreciate the equipments that I have acquired through my journey as a player. Artaxerxes Family, Reclusion Family and I tried some mission keys even raids. Though we don't get that much from the drops, I am personally happy because I can now experience what the high level families had.

Second, I really appreciate the progress of my faction. Looking at them having decent equips and enjoying the game for many months is already an accomplishment for me as a leader along with the faction members.

I don't know what to say because it was really worthwhile playing the game.

GE Map: Capybara Plantation

After having some PVP match with my deputy faction leader Xei Family along with Southernsky Family and Reclusion Family, we decided to have a venture on areas unique such as the Capybara Plantation. The Capybara Plantation is located south of Albertal were monster's level ranges from 104-108.So how do we get there? We tread to Tetra Hill, then Topola Durga, moves to Deprimida Valley, passes to Albertal, and there the Capybara Plantation.

The mobs there were so cute especially the capybaras and the violent ones who are inside their cages throwing stones at us. The map is likely to be huge judging in its interior. Then that's not all, it seems my first visit there is not complete without meeting the resident boss in the area.

I like you to meet Golden Bat! This resident boss is undead in property with very decent attack rating and defense rating. And what makes this bat swinger popular is because of its unique fighting style, and that is called the illusion. Golden Bat moves slowly but don't mess with it because if you thought that he is far now you will see him move quickly at your front kicking you with massive punishment.

We managed to take him down using five families for almost 20 minutes and everyone enjoyed it. After walking here and there an unlikely surprise to me happened.

I am reported as a botter while walking and I know who you are. Why are people so easily enticed with characters that has luminous ring in their bellies. Is it because they want to prove that there is no clean faction leader? Oh I think you are barking on a wrong tree because I am not a botter.

My Capybara Plantation tour was very nice and I enjoyed it so much. And again stay tune for more tours in the future.
